Neff, Zablocki Receive All-State Honors

cm-footballBALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – Two Wildcat football players have received state level recognition and even national attention for their efforts on the gridiron in the 2015 season for Central Mountain.

Senior, Tyler Zablocki was honored with first team 2015 Pennsylvania Football News Class 4A All-State selection at Punter as well as recognition for the same efforts by 2015 Class 4A All-WesternPAFootball.net first team selection. Zablocki punted 29 times for 1,277 total yards for the Wildcats, averaging 44.0 per kick (ranked first in the state by MaxPreps) with a long of 65 yards. Zablocki set opponents back inside their own 20 yard line 12 times on the year.

Zablocki also garnered 25 yards rushing, 581 yards receiving and 17 yards in kick returns for Central Mountain as a wide receiver. From his defensive position as a cornerback, Zablocki recorded 37 tackles, 12 of them solo on the year. Zablocki also received the Sammy Casilio Memorial Award.

Junior, Justin Neff received 2015 Class 4A All-WesternPAFootball.net first team honors for Specialist/Kick Returner. Neff amassed 631 yards on 17 returns averaging 37.1 per return (ranked second in the nation by MaxPreps) with his longest jaunt for 91 yards. Neff was responsible for 640 yards rushing, 732 yards passing and 83 yards receiving for the year in his duties as quarterback and receiver. At free safety for the Wildcats, Neff is credited with 70 tackles, 34 of them solo.
