Wildcats Dispatch Jersey Shore 76-51
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – Continuing the pressure they brought to bear in their last outing, Central Mountain dispatched Jersey Shore 76-51 in Heartland Conference action.
The Wildcats held Shore to single digits in in the first and third quarters and allowed only one Bulldog to break double digits in scoring on the night. CM had a commanding 42-19 lead heading into the break and stretched their lead to 58-28 heading into the final period. Jersey shore did manage to outpace Central Mountain 23-18 in the fourth quarter but the deficit was too much to overcome resulting in the Wildcat 76-51 win.
The offensive wealth was spread around the Central Mountain roster with Alex Garbrick, 21 points; Kyle Everhart, 15 points (all from 3-point range) and Brody Baker netting 12 for the Wildcats. Nick Carpenetti dropped in 8 points, with Cole Reeder and Wyatt Koch each scoring 4 points. Matt Storuman, Tyler Zablocki and Landon Breon each contributed 2 points to round out the scoring.
