LHU Jordan repeats as Women’s Basketball PSAC East Athlete of the Week
LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – For the second week in a row, Jenadia Jordan of the Lock Haven women’s basketball team was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday afternoon, Jan. 26.
The Bald Eagles have brought home seven PSAC weekly awards this season, which leads the conference.
Jordan, who became the first Bald Eagle women’s basketball player to record a triple double last week, earned her second straight PSAC East Athlete of the Week honor, after helping Lock Haven improve to 6-0 vs. Eastern Division opponents.
Jordan continued her tear on both ends of the court as she filled up the box score to lead the Bald Eagles to victories over East Stroudsburg (76-47) and West Chester (73-50).
The senior totaled 39 points, 14 assists, seven steals and 10 rebounds over two games on the week.
On Wednesday vs. ESU, she finished with 13 points, five assists, four steals and six rebounds before erupting with a season-high 26 points, nine assists, three steals and four rebounds in the victory over West Chester on Saturday.
Jordan was extremely efficient this week, totaling 12-21 from the floor, 5-9 from behind the arc and 10-14 at the free throw line.
Lock Haven is now 12-5 overall and 8-3 in the PSAC and enters the week on a six-game win streak, with four consecutive double-figure victories.
