Two-Alarm Fire Causes Extensive Damage to 136 E. Water St.
Lock Haven, PA- At 6:28PM on December 21, 2025, the Lock Haven Fire Department was alert to a structure fire at 136 E. Water Street in the City. Fire units arrived on scene to find fire showing from the third story. Crews began fire suppression operations while simultaneously conducting a search for any victims. As conditions worsened, the Incident Commander requested a second alarm which brought additional fire crews from Dunnstown, Flemington, Jersey Shore, Avis, and Renovo. At approximately 10:00PM, the incident was placed under control.
The investigation into the cause of the fire is still ongoing. The occupants in the two apartments on the third floor are displaced. No injuries were reported. The third floor sustained extensive fire damage while the first and second floor sustained water damage. Initial damage is estimated at $200,000.
