“A Little Magic In The Air” Set for December 13

By Bees O’Brien
FARWELL- If you’ve noticed portions of Central Avenue in Farwell lighting up the West Branch Valley, then you’ve noticed that it is once again time for “A Little Magic In The Air”.

The popular Christmas celebration will be once again holding the scenic holiday lights walk through. This year’s event will be held on December 13 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Once again township officials will begin shutting down Central Avenue to traffic at 5:30 p.m. to ensure that visitors walking the festival of lights have safe travels.

For those who have trouble, or are unable to walk the entire distance Justin Ditty will be once again running his festive holiday trailer up and down the avenue throughout the evening, allowing those who would otherwise be unable to view the activities a chance to enjoy themselves.

Santa Claus is expected to be waiting along the avenue for all of those that have been good during 2025!
This is the tenth annual event and citizens ask that visitors be mindful of personal property and other guests. The passing out of treat will begin at 6:00 p.m. and continue until 8:00 p.m. if supplies last.

The citizen’s of Central Avenue have been working hard over the past several weeks preparing their holiday displays. High school students from Bucktail Area High School’s NHS have also been volunteering to help prepare for the event.

There’s plenty to see and do along the way, including adult treats and activities, so don’t miss this one-of-a-kind holiday experience!
