Criminal Mischief
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On December 1, 2025, at 5:35 p.m., PSP Lamar was requested to respond to Variety Buffet, located at 234 Hogan Boulevard in Mill Hall, for a report of a customer causing a disturbance in the establishment. Further investigation revealed that Evan Way, 25, of Dubois, PA, caused a disruption while dining at the restaurant by flipping a table and hitting the Point-of-Sale machine as he exited. Charges were filed against Way for Criminal Mischief and Disorderly Conduct through Magisterial District Court 25-3-02.
Hit and Run
GREENE TOWNSHIP—On December 1, 2025, at 11:22 p.m., a crash occurred on I-80 westbound near mile marker 194. Collin Comstock, 28, of Eynon, PA, was traveling in the right lane when his vehicle was struck on the driver’s side by another, unidentified vehicle. After the collision, the other driver continued heading west on I-80. Comstock’s vehicle sustained minor damage to the trailing unit, and no injuries were reported.
DUI
LOCK HAVEN CITY—On November 30, 2025, at 1:41 a.m., PSP Lamar initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation on E. Church Street in the City of Lock Haven. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the operator of the vehicle, identified as a 49-year-old male of Lock Haven, was under the influence of a controlled substance. The driver was taken into custody and transported to UPMC Lock Haven Hospital pending a legal blood draw. This investigation is ongoing.
Motor Vehicle Accident
BEECH CREEK TOWNSHIP—On November 29, 2025, at 7:39 p.m., a crash occurred at the intersection of Eagle Valley Road and Maple Avenue. Arthur Hammer, 70, of Milesburg, was traveling south on Eagle Valley Road when Christina Counsil, 46, of Mill Hall, pulled out from Maple Avenue and struck the side of Hammer’s Subaru Forester. Both vehicles required towing from the scene. No injuries were reported.
Harassment w/Physical Contact
MILL HALL BOROUGH—On November 29, 2025, at approximately 1:00 p.m., PSP Lamar Troopers responded to a report of Harassment involving a 55-year-old female victim. This investigation is ongoing.
DUI
LOCK HAVEN CITY—On November 29, 2025, at approximately 8:52 p.m., PSP Lamar conducted a traffic stop on a silver 2008 Hyundai Elantra in the 400 block of Bellefonte Avenue for a traffic violation. A search of the vehicle was conducted during the stop, and drug paraphernalia was reportedly found within the vehicle. No further details were included in the report issued by PSP; however, criminal charges are pending.
DUI
LOCK HAVEN CITY—On November 28, 2025, at approximately 7:33 p.m., PSP Lamar conducted a traffic stop on a blue 2014 Volkswagen Jetta on Susquehanna Avenue for a speeding violation. Troopers reportedly discovered that the driver, Donald Cline, 56, of Mill Hall, was under the influence of a controlled substance. Criminal charges are pending.
Harassment w/Physical Contact
LEIDY TOWNSHIP—On November 28, 2025, at 11:46 p.m., PSP Lamar Troopers responded to a report of a physical altercation on Schaffer Road. According to their report, four victims, all over the age of 50, were involved in the incident. A citation was filed against a 34-year-old male from Frenchville, PA, through Magisterial District Court 25-3-03.
Drug Possession
LOCK HAVEN CITY—On November 27, 2025, at approximately 7:47 p.m., PSP Lamar initiated a traffic stop on a silver 2015 Hyundai Sonata in the 200 block of Susquehanna Avenue. During the traffic stop, a small amount of marijuana was located within the vehicle. No further information was provided in the report issued by PSP Lamar.
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
CASTANEA TOWNSHIP—On November 27, 2025, at 8:07 p.m., PSP Lamar initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation on S. Hanna Street. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the driver of the vehicle, identified as a 49-year-old male from Lock Haven, was under the influence of a controlled substance and in possession of drug paraphernalia. The driver was taken into custody and transported to UPMC Lock Haven Hospital for a legal blood draw. This investigation is ongoing.

MILL HALL BOROUGH—Between November 24 and November 25, 2025, PSP Lamar investigated a report of Harassment in the area of Main Street in Mill Hall. This incident was deemed to be unfounded.
Criminal Mischief
FLEMINGTON BOROUGH—On November 24, 2025, PSP Lamar Troopers responded to 799 James Street for a report of criminal mischief. At the scene, they learned that a 73-year-old female’s kitchen window had been struck by a BB pellet around 10:00 p.m. that evening. Troopers observed damage to the window. Anyone with information regarding this incident, or who has experienced similar damage, is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police-Lamar Barracks at 570-726-6000.
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
NOYES TOWNSHIP—On November 24, 2025, at 10:21 a.m., PSP Lamar took William McDonald, 43, of Renovo, into custody at 28 Gratzmar Avenue on a warrant stemming from an unrelated incident. A search reportedly led to the seizure of drug paraphernalia that was discovered. Charges were filed through Magisterial District Court 25-3-03.
DUI Crash
PORTER TOWNSHIP—On November 24, 2025, River Specht, 24, of Coudersport, was traveling on Furnace Road approaching the intersection with Fishing Creek Road. According to PSP Lamar, Specht failed to negotiate a right-hand turn due to driving too fast for the conditions. As a result, his Ford Focus crossed the west travel lane, went off the north side of the roadway, and struck a tree. The vehicle then collided with a porch at 53 Fishing Creek Road. After the impact, Specht backed off the property and continued east, leaving a trail of leaking oil before stopping. No injuries were reported.
Protection From Abuse (PFA) Violation
RENOVO BOROUGH— On November 24, 2025, at 2:09 a.m., a PFA violation was reported to PSP Lamar. The actor, identified as a 43-year-old male from Renovo, intentionally drove his pickup truck into the victim’s fence, causing damage and violating the terms of the active PFA Order. Charges were filed through Magisterial District Court 25-3-03.
Criminal Trespass
RENOVO BOROUGH—On November 23, 2025, at 1:29 a.m., PSP Lamar responded to 9th Street for a report of Trespassing. Charges were filed against William McDonald, 43, of Renovo, through Magisterial District Court 25-3-03 as a result of the incident.
Motor Vehicle Accident
FLEMINGTON BOROUGH—On November 23, 2025, a crash occurred on SR-150. Rita Haywood, 75, of Williamsport, was traveling westbound when Samuel Collins II, 24, of Lock Haven, pulled out onto SR-150 eastbound without yielding to oncoming traffic. Collins entered Haywood’s path, causing the front of his Ford Focus to strike the front right (1 o’clock position) of Haywood’s Jeep Cherokee. Both vehicles came to a stop in the middle of the road. Collins’ vehicle sustained disabling front-end damage, while Haywood’s vehicle had minor front-end damage. No injuries were reported, and both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
Assault w/Weapon
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP—On November 23, 2025, at approximately 9:00 p.m., PSP Lamar was dispatched to Walmart in Mill Hall for a reported disturbance. According to radio communications, a male with a red beard, wearing a camouflage jacket and tan pants, was inside the store, screaming and in possession of a knife and a handgun.
Upon arrival, officers located the individual, later identified as Andrew Batschelet, 33, of Lock Haven. Through the investigation, it was determined that Batschelet had recognized a 27-year-old male from Williamsport—identified as the victim—from a previous incident on September 26, 2025, in which the victim had allegedly assaulted Batschelet.
Inside Walmart, Batschelet recognized the victim, engaged him in conversation, and allegedly stated, “You want to finish this?” while brandishing a pocketknife. Batschelet then pushed the victim, who responded by restraining Batschelet on the ground. While on the ground, Batschelet retrieved a silver Phoenix Arms HP22 handgun that was in his possession and pointed it at the victim, stating, “I’m going to kill you.” The confrontation occurred in view of the victim’s son and other children.
As the victim attempted to comfort his son, Batschelet continued to point the firearm at the victim’s head and punched him in the face before running away. The incident caused several Walmart customers and employees to flee in panic.
Batschelet was apprehended and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Terroristic Threats, Simple Assault, Disorderly Conduct, and Harassment. He was transported to the Clinton County Correctional Facility pending arraignment.
Harassment – No Legitimate Purpose
CHAPMAN TOWNSHIP—On November 23, 2025, at 11:28 a.m., PSP Lamar responded to Central Avenue for a report of an inactive domestic incident. The investigation into the matter is ongoing.
Protection From Abuse (PFA) Violation
RENOVO BOROUGH—On November 23, 2025, at 1:29 a.m., PSP Lamar responded to 9th Street for a report of a PFA violation. Charges were filed against William McDonald, 43, of Renovo, through Magisterial District Court 25-3-03 as a result of the incident.
Hit and Run
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP—On November 22, 2025, at 6:32 p.m., a crash occurred at the intersection of Hogan Boulevard and Mill Hall Road. Courtney Brittan, 26, of Jersey Shore, was crossing Hogan Boulevard from Country Club Lane when an unidentified driver ran a red light while turning left from Mill Hall Road onto Hogan Boulevard. The other driver struck the passenger side of Brittan’s Ford Escape, causing disabling damage, and then fled the scene. No injuries were reported, and Martin Motors provided towing services.
Motor Vehicle Accident
PORTER TOWNSHIP—On November 21, 2025, a crash occurred on I-80 West involving Eric Stair, 48, of Summerland Key, FL. Stair was traveling in the left lane when a deer entered the roadway from the wooded area on the left. Stair’s Toyota Camry struck the deer head-on and continued for approximately 0.1 mile before coming to a stop in the left lane. Stair sustained a suspected minor injury. No road closures were necessary.
Motor Vehicle Accident
GREENE TOWNSHIP—On November 20, 2025, at 6:49 a.m., a crash occurred on I-80 West near mile marker 183.6. Daniel Thompson, 48, of Jersey Shore, exited the left side of the roadway and then lost control while re-entering, striking the guide rail on the right side. The impact caused disabling damage to his Hyundai Elantra, which came to a final stop on the right berm of the highway. No injuries were reported. PennDOT was notified about the property damage.
Simple Trespass
MILL HALL BOROUGH—On November 20, 2025, PSP Lamar Troopers responded to a report of trespassing in progress on W. Church Street. Upon arrival, officers spoke with both the complainant and the alleged perpetrator. It was determined that the incident was a misunderstanding, as the individual did have permission to be on the premises.
Disorderly Conduct
PORTER TOWNSHIP—On November 19, 2025, at 11:08 p.m., PSP Lamar responded to I-80 west near mile marker 172 for a report of a female behaving erratically in traffic. The woman, a 27-year-old from Lock Haven, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct after causing a public disturbance and posing a threat to herself and others.
Motor Vehicle Accident
LAMAR TOWNSHIP—On November 18, 2025, a crash occurred involving Carlos Clavijo, 28, of Linden, NJ. Clavijo was driving a commercial truck with an attached semi-trailer and failed to safely navigate an interstate exit ramp at a safe speed. At the end of the ramp, he turned right onto US-220 without stopping at a stop sign, causing both the truck and trailer to overturn onto the driver’s side. Clavijo sustained minor injuries and was transported by Goodwill Hose Co. EMS to UPMC Lock Haven Hospital. Eagle Towing and Recovery assisted in removing the wreckage, and PennDOT provided traffic control. Five traffic citations were filed against Clavijo through Magisterial District Court 25-3-02.
Suicide Attempt
WAYNE TOWNSHIP—On November 17, 2025, at 10:13 a.m., PSP Lamar was dispatched to a report of a suicide attempt that occurred at the Clinton County Correctional Facility. This investigation is ongoing.
Harassment
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP—Between November 12 and November 17, 2025, an incident of harassment involving two minors, ages 15 and 16, was reported on Keystone Central Drive in Mill Hall, according to PSP Lamar. The investigation is ongoing.
Criminal Trespass
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP—On November 17, 2025, at 11:52 a.m., an incident involving Criminal Trespassing on Munro Road was reported to PSP Lamar. This investigation is ongoing.
Harassment w/Physical Contact
LAMAR TOWNSHIP— On November 15, 2025, PSP Lamar investigated a report of Harassment that occurred on US-220 South at the Salona exit involving a minor victim. The investigation was unfounded, according to PSP.

LOGANTON BOROUGH—On November 14, 2025, at 3:44 p.m., an incident occurred between two 15-year-old students on E. Main Street. Charges are pending.

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP—On November 13, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., an incident occurred between two 15-year-old students on a bus on Keystone Central Drive. Charges are pending.
Harassment – No Legitimate Purpose
FLEMINGTON BOROUGH—On September 1, 2025, at 9:26 p.m., PSP Lamar Troopers responded to Sturdevant Street for a report of online harassment involving a 19-year-old victim. After interviewing all parties, a citation for harassment was filed against a male minor, according to the PSP report.
Motor Vehicle Accident
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP—On August 24, 2025, at 12:10 p.m., a crash occurred on SR-150 involving Margaret Breon, 78, of Williamsport. Breon was traveling west when she lost control of her vehicle, left her lane of travel, and struck a utility pole and a block wall on the north side of the roadway. She then re-entered the roadway, crossed into the eastbound lane, and collided with a rock embankment on the south side. Her Ford Focus sustained disabling front-end damage and came to a final stop off the roadway, facing south. No injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
