Renovo Police Department News:

RENOVO BOROUGH— The Renovo Police Department has charged Mark Sinkiewicz, 66, of Wind Gap (Northampton County), with two counts of DUI, expired inspection, and parking in a roadway causing a hazard.

On October 21, 2025, at approximately 3:46 p.m., officers responded to Huron Avenue, where Sinkiewicz’s vehicle had run out of gas, creating a traffic hazard. Police noted that Sinkiewicz had passed several gas stations in his travels, including one just a block before stopping. Sinkiewicz did not know where he was, and reportedly drove from the Allentown area but did not know how he had gotten to Renovo or why he was there.

After ruling out medical issues, officers reportedly found that Sinkiewicz was highly intoxicated, and he was arrested for DUI. A blood test later showed a Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) of .204%. Charges have been filed against Sinkiewicz in District Court 25-3-03.
