Motor Vehicle Accident
GRUGAN TOWNSHIP— On October 30, 2025, at approximately 9:30 a.m., a collision occurred on SR-120 near Goodlings Lane. Angela Schuller, 29, of North Bend, was driving eastbound when she lost control of her vehicle while negotiating a left-hand curve. According to the police report, she was traveling too fast for the road conditions, which caused her vehicle to veer off the left side of the roadway and strike an embankment. The vehicle sustained disabling damage, but no injuries were reported.
Theft
BEECH CREEK BOROUGH— On October 26, 2025, PSP Lamar responded to Merryvale Lane for a report of theft. Through investigation, it was determined that a cell phone and medications were taken by an unknown suspect. No further information was provided in the report of the incident.
Reckless Endangerment
PINE CREEK TOWNSHIP— On October 26, 2025, a 22-year-old man from Montoursville swung an axe toward a victim while walking through the corn maze in Pine Creek Township. The actor’s axe was seized, and he was charged with Recklessly Endangering Another Person.
Harassment/Physical Contact
CASTANEA TOWNSHIP— On October 25, 2025, at 8:45 p.m., PSP Lamar responded to Grape Street for a report of an inactive domestic disturbance. Through investigation, it was determined that Richard Swope, 34, of Lock Haven, grabbed and pushed a female victim following a verbal argument. Charges were filed through Magisterial District Court 25-3-01.
Harassment/Physical Contact
BEECH CREEK TOWNSHIP— On October 25, 2025, at 3:20 p.m., PSP Lamar responded to a report of harassment near the intersection of Haagen Lane and Eagle Valley Road. According to their report, an argument between a 43-year-old woman from Howard and a 57-year-old man from Blanchard escalated into a physical altercation. As a result, the woman was charged with harassment involving physical contact.
Drug Possession
LAMAR TOWNSHIP—On October 24, 2025, PSP Lamar initiated a traffic stop on I-80 West near mile marker 177 after witnessing traffic violations. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the driver, identified as a 20-year-old male from Oak Creek, WI, was in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. This investigation is ongoing.
