Shoe Bank to Give Free New Sneakers October 18

LOCK HAVEN — The Lock Haven Area Shoe Bank will be open by appointment Saturday, Oct. 18, inside Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven. Appointments are required and may be made from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Eligible kids and teens from wee ones through high school seniors can choose a free pair of new shoes, free new socks, and books to own.
The Shoe Bank serves families who have Compass and who live in Clinton County or the Liberty-Curtin Elementary School attendance area. Families who don’t have Compass may be referred by an agency, church, or organization.
