Local Rotary Clubs ‘Unite for Good’

LOCK HAVEN — Downtown Lock Haven Rotary held a dinner in honor of District Governor Dawn Linn on Sept. 30th. A Williamsport resident, she brought an inspirational message about Rotary’s international theme “Uniting for Good”.
She visited on Sept. 30th and inducted Cathy Ballat as the Downtown Club’s newest member. She also was tickled to see her first name spelled out in sandwiches, created by Leo’s Deli.
Downtown Rotary meets at 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays in the Poorman Gallery, 352 E. Water St., Lock Haven, gathering at 5:15 p.m.
The community has another Rotary club which meets for lunch at 12:00 p.m. on selected Tuesdays.
Both clubs were united for the dinner, and both honored the district governor with gifts as well as donations to the Rotary Foundation.
