Motor Vehicle Accident
PORTER TOWNSHIP— On October 2, 2025, at approximately 4:02 p.m., a collision occurred near 6238 Nittany Valley Drive. Rachel Batholomew, 30, of Bellefonte, was following too closely behind Edwin Horner, 83, of Howard. Horner had stopped his vehicle in the roadway while waiting for vehicles ahead to turn onto Peach Orchard Road. Batholomew’s Dodge Dart struck the rear of Horner’s Ford F250, resulting in damage to the F250’s rear bumper and disabling damage to the Dart. Despite the damage, Batholomew was able to move her vehicle off the roadway and into a parking lot. No injuries were reported.
Terroristic Threats
LOGANTON BOROUGH— On October 1, 2025, at 2:52 p.m., PSP Lamar was dispatched to E. Main Street for a report of Terroristic Threats. Through investigation, it was determined that a 13-year-old male from Loganton made threatening statements to fellow students. Charges were filed through Clinton County Juvenile Probation.
Motor Vehicle Accident
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On October 1, 2025, at approximately 4:00 p.m., a two-vehicle collision occurred on Eagle Valley Road near the intersection with Country Club Lane. Richard Wagner, 30, of Lock Haven, was stopped on Eagle Valley Road, waiting for traffic to move, when Susannah Horton, 58, of Avis, failed to notice the stopped traffic and rear-ended Wagner’s Chevrolet Silverado at an estimated speed of 30 mph. Horton’s Volkswagen Jetta sustained significant front-end damage and had to be towed from the scene. No injuries were reported.
Motor Vehicle Accident
PORTER TOWNSHIP— On September 28, 2025, at 4:52 p.m., a crash occurred on I-80 West near mile marker 171.4. Carson Alsdorf, 19, of Conneaut Lake, PA, was driving behind Taijuan Fentress, 30, of Newport News, VA, in the right lane. Alsdorf, who was traveling faster than Fentress, failed to notice how closely he was approaching the Freightliner Fentress was operating and subsequently struck the rear of the truck. Alsdorf’s Honda Pilot sustained disabling front-end damage and had to be towed from the scene. No injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
Harassment
FLEMINGTON BOROUGH— On September 29, 2025, at approximately 11:00 a.m., PSP Lamar responded to an active domestic dispute on W. 4th Street. A 55-year-old woman and an 84-year-old man, both from Lock Haven, reported injuries, and a vehicle was also vandalized during the incident. A 35-year-old man, also of Lock Haven, was arrested at the scene, and charges against him are pending. No further information was included in the report issued by PSP Lamar.
