MILL HALL – The Central Mountain girls tennis team celebrated Senior Night on Tuesday, honoring four-year letterwinner Audra Eaton for her dedication to the program. Despite the festive occasion, visiting Danville spoiled the night with a 4-1 victory.

The Wildcats earned their lone point at the top singles spot where Addison Lindsay cruised past Josie Bendle, 6-0, 6-0. The Ironmen, however, controlled the rest of the match.

In the remaining singles flights, Gyovanna Sundaresan defeated Lane Walker, 6-1, 6-0, and Alexa Preisz topped Kassie Williams, 6-0, 6-0.

Danville also swept doubles play. The team of Elyse Spahr and Sanah Bhanushali downed Eaton and Kylee Markle, 6-1, 6-1, while Ellen Pena and Slyah Bhanushali edged Tess Akeley and Leah Wian in a tight match, 7-6 (7-2), 6-3.
