Angel Lights Honor September 11

Lisa Schropp, president of the Downtown Lock Haven Rotary Club, fills Angel Lights in 2024. The annual display of luminaries returns to Triangle Park on Thursday, Sept. 11th.

LOCK HAVEN —Today, Sept. 11th, is our National Day of Remembrance. It’s a great day to thank a firefighter and other first-responders, as well as veterans and current members of the military.

One way to do that is to sponsor an Angel Light for 9/11, to be lit in Triangle Park on this evening. You may sponsor and personalize a luminary for anyone who is a light in your life.
Angel Lights are $5 each. Funds raised go back into the community.

To get yours, visit the store The Bus Stops Here at 25 E. Main St., Lock Haven, or stop by Triangle Park today.

The park will also serve as the headquarters for the Moving Tribute of flags by V.A. volunteer walkers and runners.
