Lady Bucks Booster Club Hosts Fundraiser with Games, Food, and Duck Race on the Susquehanna

RENOVO – The Bucktail Lady Bucks girls booster club held a fundraising morning and afternoon Saturday at the Flaming Foliage Lot as parents and athletes hosted visitors to games and food to those that stopped by. The most anticipated even was the duck race, where organizers placed dozens of ducks in the Susquehanna to see whose ducks crossed the finish line down river first.

Sue Moore of Renovo had the winning duck while Dan Hoff of York and Steve Young’s finished second and third. Donna Burrows of South Renovo was awarded a booster club t-shirt as her entrant was the last one to find its way down current.
