PA State Police Arrest Suspect After Shootout in Beech Creek Borough

BEECK CREEK BOROUGH— On Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at approximately 8:50 p.m., PA State Police from the Lamar Barracks were serving a felony warrant on an individual at his residence, located at 2476 Eagle Valley Road in Bald Eagle Township.

When Troopers made contact, the individual fired a shot at them. He then got in his vehicle and fled the scene on SR-150. The suspect pulled into the Lykens parking lot at 272 Main Street, Beech Creek Borough, where he fired another round at the Troopers.

After a brief gunfire exchange, the individual was taken into custody without further incident. The individual suffered one non-life-threatening injury, and no law enforcement officers or bystanders were harmed during the incident.

As per PSP-Lamar regulations, all involved members have been placed on administrative leave.

The investigation is ongoing, and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
