Mill Hall Police Department News:

MILL HALL— On June 18, 2025, Mill Hall Police investigated a stolen vehicle taken from MOR Car Rentals, located at 1 S. Water Street in Mill Hall. The investigation revealed that Iysha Hayes-Floyd of Rochester, NY, rented a vehicle from the business and provided a valid credit card at the time of signing the rental agreement, which began on June 6, 2025, and was due to be returned on June 13, 2025. Hayes-Floyd cancelled the credit card on file and never returned the vehicle.

Hayes-Floyd currently has an arrest warrant for F3 Theft, F3 Theft by Deception, F3 Theft by Failure to Make Required Disposition of Funds, and M2 Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. She will be taken into custody and returned to Clinton County for a court date. Charges were filed through Magisterial District Court 25-3-02.

LAMAR TOWNSHIP— On May 19, 2025, Mill Hall Police investigated a bad check incident involving a tenant who had written two checks totaling $3,890.00 that were not honored at the bank when deposited. Robert D. Williams Jr. of Huntingdon County, PA, had rented an apartment in the Warrior’s Mark Area, and the landlord, who is located in Lamar Township, reported that he had sent a 10-day letter of notice advising Williams Jr. of the returned checks. After the landlord heard nothing from Williams Jr., the landlord contacted the police. Police spoke to Williams Jr. via phone and gave him two more days to pay his landlord however, Williams Jr. vacated the apartment and fled. A warrant was obtained charging F3 Theft by Deception, F3 Theft by Failure to Make Required Disposition of Funds, and M1 Bad Checks. Williams Jr. will be taken into custody and returned to Clinton County for a court date. Charges were filed through Magisterial District Court 25-3-02.

Renovo Police Department News:

Motor Vehicle Crash
CHAPMAN TOWNSHIP— On June 30, 2025, at approximately 4:41 p.m., the Renovo Police Department investigated a one-vehicle crash on SR-120 (Renovo Road) in the area of Lucas Lane in Chapman Township. Betty Charcalla, 62, of North Bend, was driving a 2021 Ford Bronco Sport eastbound on the Renovo Road when a deer ran in front of her, causing a collision. Airbags were deployed, and Charcalla sustained a minor injury. A passenger in the vehicle, Darlene Henry, 61, of Renovo, was not injured. Both occupants were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. The deer was deceased on-scene, and Martin Motor Company of Mill Hall assisted with towing the vehicle.
