State Police Helicopter to land on CU-Lock Haven campus for aviation presentation

LOCK HAVEN- The Pennsylvania State Police (PSP), in collaboration with the Commonwealth University-Lock Haven University Police, will host a helicopter landing on the CU-Lock Haven campus on Thursday, March 27, at noon in parking area 8, upper lot behind the Zimmerli Gymnasium.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will offer a unique presentation about the work of the PSP aviation unit and provide an opportunity to learn about their operations and the essential role it plays in law enforcement and public safety. The helicopter landing will also offer a firsthand look at the state-of-the-art technology and capabilities used in the PSP aerial operations.

“We are thrilled to partner with the Pennsylvania State Police to bring this exciting and educational experience to our campus,” said Community Service Officer, Peters. “This event will offer a closer look at the important work being done by PSP and provide an opportunity for community engagement with our local law enforcement.”
