BALD EAGLE-The spring sports season is officially underway as teams have begun practices and early scrimmages. The Central Mountain baseball team, coming off a strong season last year, traveled to Bald Eagle Area on Wednesday for a preseason matchup. Meanwhile, the Central Mountain softball team will take the field today for a home scrimmage against Bald Eagle Area.

With preparations in full swing, the first official contests for area teams are set to begin next week.
