Editor:
Recent articles reported of a Million dollar grant to stabilize the Bucktail Medical Center.

In addition, just a couple of years ago, when UPMC tried to close the entire facility at Lock Haven Hospital a similar intervention took place to keep our emergency facilities open.

I have learned that both these rescues were largely the result of efforts from our State Senator Chris Dush. I’m a democrat who wants to sincerely thank our republican senator for his commitment to keeping health care accessible in Clinton County.
