Wildcats Send Six in Quarterfinals of Ultimate Warrior

ALLPORT- The Central Mountain Wildcats have advanced six wrestlers into tonight’s championship quarterfinal round of the 46-team Ultimate Warrior Tournament at West Branch High School. The Wildcats still have 11 wrestlers still alive in the consolation rounds, while only one wrestler has been eliminated.
Gavin Heverly (114), Aiden Kunes (127), Patrick Tarantella (133), Dalton Perry (145), Luke Ananea (152) and Bryce Brungard (189) all advanced into the championship quarterfinal round. Central Mountain, after two championship rounds and one consolation round, are sitting in first place with 77.5 points, while Hickory is in second with 74.5 and Derry Township is third with 69.5 points.
Still alive in the consolation rounds are Cael Dorman (107), Collin Bauman (121), Luke Garman (127), Jaggar Pardoe (133), Hayes Donley (139), Dakoda Packer (152), Dalton McDermott (160), Jacob Nyman (172), Todd Caris (189), Kai Fravel (215) and Hayes Henry (285). Nicholas Lose was the only Wildcat eliminated thus far, as he was pinned by teammate Henry in the final ultimate tiebreaker period in the consolation first round.
