JERSEY SHORE- The visiting Central Mountain Wildcats used six falls to propel them to a solid 59-10 win over the host Jersey Shore Bulldogs (now 6-13) on Senior night in the Bulldog gym. The win allowed the Wildcats to finish their regular dual meet season with an unbeaten 11-0 record and the number one seed in the District 6 Duals Championships next week.
“Tonight was one of those nights that we won the dual meet by a one sided score and as a coach you are pleased overall, but we still have some areas that we need to be addressed in practice before the postseason is in full swing” commented head coach Biff Walizer after the win.
“We were able to get 18 guys entered in the varsity part of this weekend’s Ultimate Warrior Tournament and then a couple of other guys into the junior varsity tournament. We will be able to give a lot guys matches and hopefully help correct some of those things before we get into District Duals next week.” added Walizer.
