Wrestling Returns to Bucktail After 12 Years

FARWELL-For the first time in 12 years the wrestling mats were rolled out onto the floors at Bucktail as the junior high Bucks hosted the Jersey Shore Bulldogs. Some young grapplers saw action in multiple matches as the unofficial score would have had the two teams deadlocked at 41-41.

It may seem cliché, but the fans that filled the bleachers as well as both teams were just glad to see wrestling return to Bucktail. Attendance was particularly good considering the sub freezing temperatures outside.

For the home team, Angelo Tarantella and Nick Dennis  each picked up a pair of wins, as Quinn Dorman, Joey Heiser, Luca DeMarte, Thomas Tarantella all won as well.

Jersey Shore’s Alexa Gardner and CJ Wertz picked up two wins for their efforts as teammates, Wyatt Kline, Ryan Maines,  Noah Loven, Damien Barry all added wins for the Bulldogs.
