PHOENIX DOMINATE UNDERMANNED LOYALSOCK

LOYALSOCK: The Sugar Valley Rural Charter School came away with a lopsided 65-3 dual meet win over a totally undermanned Loyalsock Lancer team on Wednesday evening, as the win increased the Phoenix record to 4-6 on the season.
The Phoenix received eight bout wins by forfeit in the dual meet, as Hunter Berry (114), Taylor Cantolina (121), Tobias Conoway (127), Jarren McCloskey (139), Wyatt Conoway (145), Thayne Jefferies (160), Lincoln Breon (215) and Koda Mincer (285) all walked off the mat with forfeit wins.
In bouts contested, Gavin Matter (133) won by a fall, while Dakota Jodun posted a tech fall win at 152 pounds and Brandon Galentine won by injury default at 189 pounds. Leroy Culvey dropped a 5-0 decision to the Laners Owen Peck at 107 pounds to account for the Lancers only points of the dual meet.
The Phoenix will be back in action on Thursday evening when they travel to Mount Carmel to battle the 4-11 Tornados. On Saturday they will travel to Williamson High School for their 5-team dual meet tournament.
