Corruption of Minors

NOYES TOWNSHIP— On January 7, 2025, PSP Lamar responded to an unidentified location for a Childline report involving a 15-year-old victim. Through investigation, it was determined that the report involved the possible use of controlled substances. This investigation is ongoing.

 

Harassment w/Physical Contact

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On January 5, 2025, PSP Lamar Troopers were dispatched to Hogan Boulevard for a report of harassment. A non-traffic citation is pending investigation, and no further details were included in the report.

 

Motor Vehicle Accident

BEECH CREEK TOWNSHIP— On January 5, 2025, at 8:00 p.m., a crash occurred on Laurel Run Road near the intersection with Tank Lane. Dawn Manley, 50, from Williamsport, was driving south on Laurel Run Road when she failed to negotiate a left turn, causing her vehicle to veer off the road. The vehicle went over the end of a guide rail, hit a barbed wire fence, and overturned, eventually coming to a stop upright in a field south of the road. No injuries were reported as a result of the accident.

 

Motor Vehicle Accident

GREENE TOWNSHIP— On January 3, 2025, at 7:49 p.m., a collision occurred on SR-880 near its intersection with Schracks Road. Aaron Harbach, 26, from Loganton, was traveling north when he stopped his 2012 Chevrolet Silverado. Larry McCloskey Jr., 65, also from Loganton, was driving behind Harbach in his 2021 Ford Ranger. McCloskey rear-ended Harbach’s truck when Harbach came to a stop. After the collision, McCloskey proceeded around Harbach’s vehicle and continued north on SR-880. McCloskey’s truck veered off the road, hit a utility pole head-on, and then continued into a ditch along Schracks Road, sustaining significant damage on the driver’s side that required it to be towed from the scene, but due to adverse weather conditions, the vehicle could not be towed immediately after the crash. Harbach’s truck suffered minor damage to the rear bumper and was able to be driven away. No injuries were reported as a result of the accident.

 

DUI Crash

GREENE TOWNSHIP— A second police report issued by PSP Lamar indicated that the January 3 motor vehicle accident involving Larry McCloskey Jr., 65, of Loganton, resulted in McCloskey’s arrest for suspicion of DUI, alcohol or drugs. McCloskey refused a chemical blood test and charges were filed through District Court 25-3-02.

 

Motor Vehicle Accident

PORTER TOWNSHIP— On January 4, 2025, a crash occurred on I-80 West at mile marker 171.2 when Dylan Molis, 20, from Weaverville, NC, veered to the south side of the interstate and struck an embankment. The 2009 Honda Accord that Molis was driving sustained disabling damage to the front end as a result of the crash, but no injuries were reported.

 

Motor Vehicle Accident

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On January 3, 2025, at approximately 6:46 p.m., a crash occurred on the southbound lane of Eagle Valley Road. Natanael Valesquez-Tecum, 20, from Orange, NJ, lost control of his vehicle due to the ice-covered road. The 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 he was driving slid off the road into a ditch on the right side and continued until the front end hit a covered culvert pipe, bringing it to a stop. Road closures were necessary due to environmental conditions. Valesquez-Tecum and his three passengers refused medical attention, and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

 

Motor Vehicle Accident

CASTANEA TOWNSHIP— On January 3, 2025, a crash occurred on US-220 South between mile markers 111.8 and 111.9. Thomas Styer, 18, from Muncy, veered from the right lane into the left passing lane and continued onto the left shoulder. The front of the 2005 Ford Mustang he was driving hit a guide rail, causing the vehicle to spin counterclockwise. The passenger side then struck another guide rail before coming to a stop on the left shoulder. The vehicle sustained disabling damage to the front end and was towed from the scene. No injuries were reported.

 

Hit and Run

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On January 2, 2025, at 10:18 p.m., a crash occurred near mile marker 109 on US-220 South when an unidentified driver in the right lane was struck from behind by another unidentified driver. The driver who caused the accident continued toward the Mill Hall exit without stopping to exchange information. No injuries were reported as a result of the accident. The hit-and-run vehicle is described as a red Dodge Truck, and PSP Lamar is asking anyone with information about this incident to contact the Lamar Barracks by calling 570-726-6000.

 

Motor Vehicle Accident

CRAWFORD TOWNSHIP— On January 2, 2025, at approximately 4:30 p.m., Cody Hoffman, 23, from Jersey Shore, was traveling south on Rockey Road at approximately 45 mph in a 35 mph zone and lost control of the 2008 Honda Pilot he was driving while negotiating a left curve in the roadway. Hoffman struck an embankment, and witnesses related that they observed the vehicle roll over and come to a final rest on all four tires facing north in the opposing lane. Hoffman sustained minor injuries and was transported from the scene, and the vehicle sustained disabling damage.

 

Hit and Run

PINE CREEK TOWNSHIP— On December 31, 2024, at 6:42 a.m., PSP Lamar responded to a two-vehicle crash at 3163 Woodward Avenue in Pine Creek Township. One of the drivers fled the scene prior to police arrival and was not able to be located. The other driver sustained minor injuries in the crash and was not able to identify the other driver. Harassment w/Physical Contact

PINE CREEK TOWNSHIP— On December 29, 2024, at approximately 2:57 a.m., officers from PSP Lamar responded to an incident at 1542 W. Cardinal Drive regarding a domestic dispute between a husband and wife. Upon investigation, Troopers discovered that Nelson Climent, 54, had pushed his wife, Tiffany Climent, 45, into a table during an argument. Following the incident, a non-traffic citation for harassment was filed with District Court 25-3-01.

 

DUI Crash

WOODWARD TOWNSHIP— On December 28, 2024,  PSP Lamar responded to a motor vehicle crash on Brewery Hollow Road. Upon investigation, it was determined that the driver, Denise Wheeler, 37, from Lock Haven, was under the influence of alcoholic beverages. Chemical testing was consented to, and criminal charges are pending.

 

DUI

CASTANEA TOWNSHIP— On December 31, 2024, at 11:04 p.m., PSP Lamar Troopers were dispatched to 1119 US-220 South for a disabled motorist along the side of the road, according to the police report. While on the scene, Troopers observed several indicators of impairment, and as a result, the driver, Bradley Bertin, 49, from Lock Haven, was arrested for the suspicion of DUI-alcohol.

 

Reckless Endangerment

BEECH CREEK TOWNSHIP— On December 31, 2024, at 1:26 p.m., PSP Lamar responded to Maple Avenue for an incident involving a dispute between a landowner and a hunter, according to the report. Charges are pending as a result of the incident.

 

Motor Vehicle Accident

CASTANEA TOWNSHIP— On December 21, 2024, a crash occurred when Chantz McCloskey, 22, from Williamsport, was traveling south on Paul Mack Boulevard. McCloskey’s 2002 Toyota 4-Runner veered off the road onto the concrete median on the left side. The vehicle then crossed back over Paul Mack Boulevard, left the roadway again on the right side, and entered a grass median. Continuing south, the vehicle spun 90 degrees and hit a speed limit sign on the west berm before colliding with a concrete bridge pier on the driver’s side. No injuries were reported, but the vehicle sustained disabling damage.

 

Theft of Motor Vehicle

PORTER TOWNSHIP— On December 15, 2024, at 5:00 p.m., PSP Lamar received a report of a stolen vehicle. The exact details surrounding the missing vehicle are unknown at this time, as it appears the vehicle may have been repossessed. This investigation is ongoing.

 

Indecent Assault

AVIS— On December 11, 2024, PSP Lamar Troopers responded to Grove Street for a request for police assistance. No further details were included in the report, however the investigation is ongoing.

 

DUI Crash

PINE CREEK TOWNSHIP— On December 10, 2024, at 11:09 p.m., PSP Lamar responded to a single-vehicle crash near 2263 Island Road. The investigation revealed that the driver, William Garman, 53, from South Williamsport, was under the influence of alcohol. Appropriate charges were filed through District Court 25-3-01.

 

Motor Vehicle Accident

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP—On November 9, 2024, a crash occurred on Fairpoint Road at its intersection with School House Road. Adalynn Wall, 20, from Jersey Shore, was traveling west and attempted to negotiate a curve in the roadway at an unsafe speed, according to the report. As she navigated the curve, Wall veered onto the right-side berm. When she attempted to correct this, the front driver’s side ball joint of the 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt she was driving either failed or broke. The vehicle continued westbound, hitting a stop sign, crossing School House Road, descending an embankment, and finally stopping in the backyard of 121 Fairpoint Road. No injuries were reported, and the vehicle was towed from the scene the next day.

Incidents:

Hit and Run –On November 22, 2024, at approximately 12:00 p.m., a hit-and-run incident involving an occupied vehicle occurred near the intersection of W. Fourth Street and N. Fairview Street.

 

Theft – On December 19, 2024, two e-bikes were stolen from a porch in the 10 block of N. Fairview Street.

 

Theft – Between December 12, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. and December 20, 2024, at 9:30 a.m., a package was stolen from the mail area of 11 S. Jones Street.

 

Criminal Mischief – Between December 19, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., and December 20, 2024, at 12:00 a.m., a door was damaged at an apartment in the 10 block of N. Jones Street.

 

Theft – Between December 24, 2024, at approximately 6:00 p.m., and December 25, 2024, at 7:30 a.m., a scooter was stolen from a residence in the 200 block of E. Main Street.

 

Crash – On December 29, 2024, at approximately 10:30 a.m., there was a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of E. Church Street and N. Vesper Street. Both vehicles were towed from the scene as a result of the crash.

 

Hit and Run – On December 31, 2024, at approximately 11:00 a.m., a vehicle parked in a parking lot in the 10 block of Bellefonte Avenue was damaged.

 

Criminal Mischief – On January 2, 2025, between 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., a rock was thrown through the window of an RV parked in the 100 block of S. Highland Street.

 

Offenses Charged:

An 11-year-old female from Lock Haven has been arrested on charges of Stalking, Intimidation of a Witness or Victim, Cyber Harassment of a Child, and other related crimes. Between August 5 and October 16, 2024, the female juvenile engaged in multiple physical altercations with the victim, a 12-year-old girl, and sent numerous digital communications threatening harm and disparaging the victim, according to police.

 

Amerie Reinbold, 21, from Renovo, was arrested for Aggravated Assault. On November 26, 2024, at approximately 5:00 p.m., Reinbold bit a security officer at UPMC Lock Haven, causing injury to the officer.

 

Sara Delasol, 45, from Lock Haven, was arrested for Obstructing Emergency Services. On December 3, 2024, at approximately 12:00 p.m., Delasol stood across the street from the Lock Haven EMS building and was shouting at crews while they were attempting to respond to an emergency call, delaying their response.

 

David Glossner, 46, from Lock Haven, was arrested for Terroristic Threats and Disorderly Conduct. On January 2, 2025, at approximately 11:00 a.m., Glossner threatened to kill a victim and struck them in the leg with a wheelchair.

 

Malachi Fantaski, 25, from Lock Haven, was cited with Harassment. On January 6, 2025, at approximately 12:00 a.m., Fantaski grabbed a victim during an argument while she was attempting to leave.
