Brody Pentz named PFN All-State selection in football

FARWELL- Bucktail senior standout Brody Pentz earned another honor this past week. Pentz was named to the Pennsylvania Football News Coaches Select All-State 1A football team. Pentz, the Bucks’ outstanding linebacker earned second team honors as the “Defensive Athlete”.

This is his second time being named to an all-state team. Pentz, who led the Bucktail boys basketball team to their first district title since 1989 in basketball was named to the all-state 1A basketball team at the conclusion of his junior season.

Pentz, a 1,000-point scorer is also a two-time 1,000 yard rusher for Bucktail and was a force on the defensive side and led the Bucks in tackles. That effort earned him a D9 League Region 3 All Star spot this past season.
