FARWELL – The Bucktail Campus annual Holiday Instrumental Concert drew a warm and supportive audience as students from Renovo Elementary and Bucktail Middle/High School performed a collection of Christmas classics and a few lesser-known pieces. The event highlighted the enthusiasm and developing skills of young musicians and singers from grades 4 through 12, bringing holiday spirit to the community.

Under the guidance of Bucktail Music Teacher Brandon Kahley, the concert featured a variety of performances, including instrumental numbers and choral singing. The Bucktail High School Choir added a festive touch with their contributions, and the evening concluded with a special appearance from the Renovo Community Choir to perform White Christmas.

The program included a diverse selection of music, offering something for everyone. The Elementary Band entertained the audience with Shark Attack and Jingle Jolly Christmas. The Bucktail Marching Band brought energy to the stage with Christmas Cadence and Santa Claus is Coming to Town.

The Middle/High School Choir performed a nice mix of songs, including the Bucktail Alma Mater, The Christmas Rush, The Twelve Days After Christmas, and the theme from the movie Elf. Meanwhile, the Middle/High School Band presented pieces like All I Want for Christmas, A Fireside Christmas, African Noel, and White Christmas.

The concert was a wonderful opportunity for the students to share their progress and love for music with the community. The performances left attendees with a sense of holiday cheer and appreciation for the students’ efforts.

As the final notes of White Christmas filled the venue, the audience applauded loudly recognizing the dedication and hard work of the performers and their director. The evening was a festive celebration of music and the holiday season.
