Woodward Township Woman Charged with Intimidation of a Victim or Witness and Resisting Arrest

LOCK HAVEN— According to Woodward Township Police, on December 10, 2024, Fay Ann Willits, 40, of 206 E. Hillside Drive in Lock Haven, was being served with a felony arrest warrant at her residence. The warrant was for Intimidation of a Victim or Witness after she allegedly threatened to kill the victim and another witness who was involved in a criminal case against her husband, William Willits III, who is accused of sexually assaulting an 18-year-old woman with severe intellectual disabilities.

When Woodward Township officers attempted to arrest her, Willits became verbally abusive and then became physically assaultive, fighting with the officers who were attempting to take her into custody. After she was restrained and taken to the Clinton County Correctional Facility, she continued to behave combatively with prison staff.

In addition to the felony warrant for the initial charge of Intimidation of a Victim or Witness, Willits was charged with Resisting Arrest, a second-degree misdemeanor. She was arraigned by District Judge Keith Kibler and released on $50,000 monetary bail for the felony warrant. She was then arraigned on the Resisting Arrest charge and placed on $20,000 bail.

Willits posted bail and was ultimately released from the Clinton County Correctional Facility. She is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing at the Clinton County Court of Common Pleas on December 16, 2024, at 8:30 a.m.
