Reeder Hurls One-Hitter Leading Wildcats at Milton

cm-baseballMILTON – The Central Mountain baseball team continues to get spectacular pitching.

The most recent gem came Friday from junior Cole Reeder The lanky right-hander hurled a one-hitter, Reeder giving up an early hit in a complete game performance in the Wildcats’ 8-0 road win.

The game was scoreless into the top of the sixth but Central Mountain exploded for its eight runs and coasted home. The big inning saw an RBI double from Dylan Kerstetter (one of his two hits), two RBIs on a single from Isaac Porter and an RBI single from Zach Skrtich.

Other hits in the game saw two from Toner Corl and one each from Kenny Heverly, Talon Falls and Trapper Kunes.

The win pushed Central Mountain to 4-0-1 on the season. They return to action Monday, a home game with Selinsgrove.
