Arrest for Violation of PFA Order
Renovo Police have charged 39-year-old Clayton Policastro, currently incarcerated in state prison, for violating a Protection From Abuse Order against a Renovo resident on two occasions in late October and mid-November 2024. Policastro will be scheduled to appear before the Clinton County Court of Common Pleas. Policastro was previously charged by Renovo Police and convicted of violating this same PFA in early October.

Hit and Run Crash
The Renovo Police Department is currently investigating a hit-and-run incident that took place on November 29, 2024, at around 9:45 a.m. The crash occurred in the 600 block of Huron Avenue in Renovo, right in front of Tony’s Hardware. A maroon RAM 2500 pickup truck, which was towing a white Wildwood camper trailer, collided with a parked vehicle, resulting in minor damage. The driver of the truck did not stop to report the accident. Renovo P.D. is reviewing video footage of the incident and continuing this investigation. Theft of Services
The Renovo Police have charged 38-year-old Christopher Hotchkiss with theft of services following an incident on the evening of December 3, 2024. Hotchkiss is accused of illegally disposing of multiple trash items in a dumpster that was paid for by someone else. He will receive a summons through District Court 25-3-03.

Criminal Trespassing
Renovo Police have charged 37-year-old Kyle Bentley with Criminal Defiant Trespass stemming from an incident that occurred during the afternoon of December 4, 2024, along Birch Street in Renovo. Bentley is alleged to have gone to the residence of his ex-spouse without permission and refused to leave after being told to leave dozens of times. Bentley allegedly went to the front and rear of the house and banged on doors and windows. He will be sent a summons through District Court 25-3-03.
