Thrills, Tunes, and Treats Highlight Lock Haven’s Annual Haven Holidays Parade

By Christopher Miller

LOCK HAVEN – Despite a bone-chilling cold, residents and visitors came together Saturday evening for the Downtown Lock Haven Annual Haven Holidays Parade.

There were several new parade entrants this year, including Durty Dabbers with two dozen or so dirt bikes zipping down Main Street including one doing tricks riding up and down a ramp attached to a car, McClain Orthodontics, Patriot Tree Surgeons, and JB Wrenchin’, A.R.F. Lawn Care, and WTLR Radio 91.1 FM.
Marching bands from Bucktail, Central Mountain, and Sugar Valley were well-represented.
Candy was flying high throughout downtown Lock Haven and as this reporter can attest: there is much more that was left behind on the city streets Saturday evening.
