Harassment
WOODWARD TOWNSHIP— On November 4, 2024, at 3:22 a.m., PSP Lamar responded to Shirk Hollow Road for a reported physical altercation between a 20-year-old male and a 22-year-old male, both from Lock Haven. Citations were filed through District Court 25-3-01.

Harassment w/Physical Contact
PORTER TOWNSHIP— On November 3, 2024, at approximately 6:08 a.m., a domestic violence incident involving a 23-year-old woman from Johnstown was reported while she was driving on Nittany Valley Drive. PSP Lamar Troopers responded to the Pilot gas station at 5868 Nittany Valley Drive, where they found the victim’s vehicle in the parking lot. Allegedly, the victim reported that a 29-year-old male passenger from Dauphin, PA, had grabbed her face during a verbal argument near SR-477 and SR-64. Efforts were made to locate the male suspect, but the victim began texting him to leave because the police were present. Since a physical altercation had occurred, the male suspect was charged with harassment through District Court 25-3-02.

Disorderly Conduct
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On November 2, 2024, at approximately 4:27 p.m., PSP Lamar responded to a report involving a 50-year-old man from Columbus, IN, who was waiting on a four-wheeler path to confront a 38-year-old man from Mill Hall about trespassing on family-owned property. Neither of the men were identified by name in the report. During the altercation, the Columbus man used obscene language and will be charged with disorderly conduct. It was later determined that the other man was not actually on his property. Charges will be filed through District Court 25-3-02.

Terroristic Threats
FLEMINGTON BOROUGH— On November 2, 2024, at 7:46 a.m., PSP Lamar responded to High Street for a report of Terroristic Threats. The alleged threats were received via text messages sent from various phone numbers. The unidentified actor sent gruesome videos and pictures before demanding money from the 20-year-old female victim. This investigation is ongoing.

DUI/Hit-and-Run
CASTANEA— On November 1, 2024, at 12:53 a.m., a crash occurred when an unnamed driver of a 1999 GM Jimmy was traveling west in the 200 block of East Keller Street. The driver suddenly swerved to the left, causing the vehicle to overturn. The vehicle came to a final rest in the middle of the road, and minor injuries were sustained in the crash. No passengers in the vehicle were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash, and the driver was arrested for DUI.

Commercial Vehicle Crash
GREENE TOWNSHIP— On November 1, 2024, a crash took place on I-80 as Randall Barto, 65, from Muncy, was traveling west in the right lane and nearing a crossover. Barto attempted to slow down his 2024 Ford F600 and switch to the left lane when Lori Reitenbach, 52, from Sunbury, tried to pass him on the right. Barto did not notice Reitenbach beginning to pass and collided with the rear corner of her vehicle. Reitenbach’s vehicle spun approximately 360 degrees before exiting the roadway via the shoulder and coming to a stop. Barto continued west and came to a stop on the south shoulder of the road. No injuries were reported as a result of the crash.

Theft/Disposition of Funds
NOYES TOWNSHIP— On November 1, 2024, PSP Lamar investigated a case involving the fraudulent use of a debit card and the theft of $426 on Ridge Road. During the investigation, troopers identified a 62-year-old male suspect from Renovo. However, the report indicates that the theft victim no longer wished to cooperate with the investigation.

Theft by Deception/Welfare Fraud
GREENE TOWNSHIP— On October 31, 2024, PSP Lamar investigated a case of identity theft wherein a 65-year-old female from Loganton reported that her identity was used to file a fraudulent claim for unemployment benefits. No further information was provided in the report.

Motor Vehicle Accident
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On October 31, 2024, a crash occurred on SR-120 near 1098 Renovo Road, according to the report issued by PSP Lamar. The accident occurred when James Daywalt, 71, from Renovo, was driving west in the right lane of SR-120 and collided with a deer that entered the road.

DUI Crash
SOUTH RENOVO— On October 31, 2024, at approximately 9:44 p.m., PSP Lamar responded to a motor vehicle accident in the 300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, South Renovo, following a report that a vehicle had struck a PPL utility pole. Troopers were informed that the driver, 47-year-old Shawn Lovett of Renovo, fled the scene in the vehicle before they arrived. The South Renovo Fire Department and Renovo Police Department located Lovett nearby, and Troopers arrested him for DUI and took him to UPMC Lock Haven Hospital for chemical testing, which he refused, according to the report.

Motor Vehicle Accident
PORTER TOWNSHIP— On October 30, 2024, at 10:31 p.m., a crash occurred when Alexander Pagoulatos, 20, from Blairstown, NJ, was traveling on I-80 East near mile marker 172.5. While traveling in the left lane, Pagoulatos struck a dead deer in the roadway, which caused disabling damage to the undercarriage of the 2011 BMW 3281 he was driving. No injuries were reported due to the crash, and Pagoulatos was wearing a seatbelt.

Theft by Deception/Identity Theft
GALLAGHER TOWNSHIP— On October 29, 2024, PSP Lamar Troopers responded to 5 Sunshine Drive for a report of identity theft. On the scene, it was determined that an unknown actor used the victim’s identity to purchase a cell phone in another state. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact PSP Lamar by calling 570-726-6000 and reference case number 2024-1393941.

Criminal Mischief
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— PSP Lamar Troopers responded to Crystal Beech Road following a report of damage to a 4×8-foot plywood Harris Walz political sign valued at $36.00. The incident occurred sometime between October 28 and October 29, 2024. The investigation is ongoing.

CASTANEA— On October 28, 2024, at 6:41 p.m., PSP Lamar Troopers responded to E. Keller Street for a report of a domestic incident involving a 24-year-old female and a 55-year-old male, both of Mill Hall. Citations were issued to both parties for Harassment through District Court 25-3-01 as a result of the incident.

Motor Vehicle Accident
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On October 27, 2024, at 2:30 p.m., a crash occurred on Plunket Run Road, just north of Orner Road. The driver of a 2017 Hyundai failed to navigate a right-hand turn, veered out of the travel lane, and collided with an embankment and vegetation on the west side of the road. The vehicle then slid about 20 feet downhill before coming to rest on its driver’s side. The impact caused significant damage to the vehicle, but no injuries were reported.

Theft from Motor Vehicle
AVIS—PSP Lamar Troopers are investigating an incident that occurred overnight from 6:00 p.m. on October 27, 2024, to 7:00 a.m. the next morning. A white 2017 Toyota Corolla was broken into at 306 Prospect Avenue. Items stolen from the vehicle included a power wheelchair valued at $1,600.00, a portable DVD player worth $90.00, a TomTom GPS, various pieces of jewelry, and prescriptions for Oxycontin and Klonopin. Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact the PSP Lamar barracks at 570-726-6000.

BEECH CREEK— On October 26, 2024, PSP Lamar responded to 85 Harrison Street for an altercation between a husband and wife. The husband allegedly dragged the wife to the ground by her sweatshirt. Charges for Harassment were filed through District Court 25-3-02.

Harassment w/Physical Contact
MILL HALL BOROUGH— On October 26, 2024, at approximately 12:00 p.m., a physical altercation occurred near S. Chestnut Street between a 25-year-old male and a 60-year-old male, both from Mill Hall. Both parties were charged with Harassment through District Court 25-3-02.

PFA Violation
RENOVO— On October 25, 2024, at 4:47 a.m., PSP Lamar Troopers were dispatched to 8th Street for a report of a PFA violation. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the incident lacked sufficient evidence for prosecution.

Theft of Lost/Mislaid Property
PORTER TOWNSHIP— On October 23, 2024, at 11:06 a.m., PSP Lamar Troopers responded to a residence on Nittany Valley Drive for a report of theft. No further details were included in the report. This investigation is ongoing.

Motor Vehicle Accident
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On October 20, 2024, at 9:07 p.m., a crash occurred involving Matthew Mechling, 41, from Mill Hall, who was driving west on SR-120 at an unknown rate of speed. Mechling failed to negotiate a left-hand curve and collided with the right-side guardrail. The impact did not prevent his 2022 Kia Seltos from overturning down a steep embankment. The vehicle came to rest on its driver’s side, leaning against a tree. Mechling managed to exit the vehicle with minor injuries but declined medical attention. Troopers suspect that DUI may have been a factor in the crash, and Mechling was taken to UPMC Lock Haven for a blood test.

Disorderly Conduct
MILL HALL BOROUGH— On September 27, 2024, between 10:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m., at least eight coaches from the Heartland Youth Football Association received multiple prank phone calls. The caller was identified as an 11-year-old male from Lock Haven. Following the investigation, the minor was arrested for disorderly conduct through District Court 25-3-02, according to the report.

Theft of Motor Vehicle
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— PSP Lamar investigated a reported stolen vehicle that is normally parked in a field on a property along Sugar Run Road. The vehicle is a blue 1975 Ford F100 with no associated registration, and it went missing sometime between September 15 and September 26, 2024. No further information has been provided at this time.

Motor Vehicle Accident
ALLISON TOWNSHIP— On August 26, 2024, at 11:53 a.m., a crash occurred on SR-120/Renovo Road. An unnamed driver traveling west on SR-120 stopped in the roadway, waiting to turn left into a driveway with their turn signal on. Patricia Lundfelt, 43, from Renovo, was also traveling west on SR-120 behind this driver. The crash occurred when Lundfelt became distracted and rear-ended the vehicle ahead. Lundfelt’s vehicle came to rest in the west travel lane of SR-120, facing north, while the other vehicle ended up on the east shoulder of SR-120, in a driveway, facing south.

PORTER TOWNSHIP— On August 24, 2024, PSP Lamar was dispatched to 116 Cherry Run Road for an incident involving harassment between Colby Haines, 35, from Howard, and a 14-year-old minor victim. Charges were filed against Haines through District Court 25-3-02.

Hit and Run/Commercial Vehicle
GREENE TOWNSHIP— A crash occurred on South Hopple Hollow Road near its intersection with Mill Creek on August 22, 2024. The crash occurred as Jason Chilcote, 43, from Robertsdale, PA, was traveling east on South Hopple Hollow Road and struck overhead utility lines. Chilcote left the scene of the crash and continued to travel east. No further details were included in the report.

Motor Vehicle Accident
PORTER TOWNSHIP— On August 22, 2024, a crash occurred at the intersection of Dotterer’s Road and Jacksonville Road. Esthel Yi, 20, F, from New Milford, NJ, was traveling north on Dotterer’s Road toward the intersection. Yi stopped at the stop sign but proceeded into the intersection without clearance, resulting in a collision with Joshua Mosser, 43, from Lock Haven, who was traveling east on Jacksonville Road. Yi’s 2021 Porsche Cayenne ended up on the east shoulder of Dotterer’s Road facing east. Mosser’s vehicle came to a stop on the north shoulder of Jacksonville Road facing north.

Harassment w/Physical Contact
FLEMINGTON BOROUGH— On August 21, 2024, PSP Lamar was dispatched to 421 Canal Street for an incident involving harassment. Upon arrival, Troopers discovered a physical altercation had occurred between two parties: Trevor Stephens, 30, and Mckayda Melan, 20, both of Lock Haven. Charges were filed through District Court 25-3-01.

Theft
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On August 21, 2024, PSP Lamar began investigating an incident of theft involving a fraudulent check for $5057.90 from a 70-year-old male victim that was forged and then deposited into an unknown account.
