LHU Volleyball falls at ESU
EAST STROUDSBURG – The Lock Haven volleyball team dropped a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division match on the road at East Stroudsburg, 3-0 (22-25, 22-25, 14-25) on Saturday afternoon (Oct. 12).
The Bald Eagles wrapped its weekend PSAC East road trip by visiting the Warriors on Saturday afternoon.
Lock Haven moves to 4-9 overall and 2-3 in the PSAC East. The Bald Eagles won their previous two matches in conference play.
ESU improves to 12-4 overall and 3-2 in the Eastern Division.
Lock Haven battled through the first two sets and fell narrowly in both, 25-22.
However, ESU rode the momentum into the third set and won 25-14 to earn the sweep.
Reagan Irons and Alyssa Daley led the Bald Eagles in kills, finishing with nine and eight, respectively.
Natalie Acevedo added 11 digs, while Olivia Cook and Irons each finished with a block to lead the defense. Maggie Rafferty chipped in seven digs.
Kelly Gaston finished with 25 assists, eight digs and three service aces.

The Bald Eagles return home to host Shepherd on Friday, October 18 at 4 p.m. for a PSAC East match in Thomas Fieldhouse.
