“Annual Craft Show” Luncheon, October 23
LOCK HAVEN – On Wednesday, October 23, 2024 The Lock Haven Christian Women’s Connection will enjoy their “Annual Craft Show” Luncheon. The program will be held at the Flemington First Church of Christ, 714 Canal Street, Allison Township. There is always good food, lots of fun and music, and gifted speakers that help inform and inspire ladies to make a most memorable day.
The theme of October’s lunch is ”The Annual Craft Show”. The Feature Guests for the luncheon will be the vendors who have been invited to bring their quality craft items to show and sell. The craft show vendors will also provide door prizes for the day. Among the items available at the luncheon will be handmade greeting cards, crocheted items, handmade jewelry, Christmas Decorations, quilted items, original watercolor paintings, filigree cut wooden items, and more. Snow’s Kettle Corn will also be available.
The special music guest for the Luncheon will be Beth Young. Young has provided her very special vocal numbers many times for the group, is a favorite of the ladies, and is always an asset to the program.
The guest speaker for the day is Teresa Gardner from Canisteo, New York. Her talk is about a busy wife and mother who couldn’t say no as she was always striving to show God how good she was.
The program begins at 11:50 a.m., however the doors will open at 10:30 a.m. so those attending can check out all the treasures at the Craft Show. The cost of $15.00 per person includes lunch, entertainment, inspirational speaker and free parking. All area women are invited. The location allows for on-site childcare for young mothers.
Nursery reservations must be made at the time that luncheon reservations are made. Mothers are asked to bring a lunch or snack for the child.
This is a perfectly good time to meet new friends and catch up with long-time friends! The Luncheon is a warm and welcoming way to renew and refresh. After this October luncheon, there will be only one more luncheon for 2024 and that one is slated for December 4. The group is requesting all who plan to attend to make reservations. All reservations for the luncheon MUST be honored.
