Renovo Fire Department Prepares Rescue Engine for Service with Support from Berkshire Hathaway Energy Grant
RENOVO – The Renovo Fire Department received some timely and needed assistance from Berkshire Hathaway Energy as they hope to have their rescue engine in service by the end of the month. Engine Rescue #29 arrived in Renovo last spring and the volunteers have been working on getting the previously owned engine ready for service in western Clinton County. The $3,200 grant from BHE was used to buy required and needed equipment to be on board the truck, as seen in the photo. Volunteers (including from left) Deputy Chief Tom Poleto and Chief Ted Hill, among others not pictured, spent the previous weekend loading the truck with the new equipment that BHE made possible.
