Local Talent Shines at Flaming Foliage Festival Follies, Setting the Stage for 75th Annual Celebration
The annual Flaming Foliage Festival Follies brought laughter, talent, and a sense of community to the packed gymnasium at Bucktail High/Middle School on Saturday night. Local performers took to the stage, earning cheers and smiles from the audience as they showcased their singing, dancing, and various acts of talent. The evening served as a lively lead-up to the 75th annual Flaming Foliage Festival, set to take place this coming weekend in Renovo.
The Flaming Foliage Court, led by Miss Bucktail Matti Mason, played a prominent role in the night’s festivities, adding fun and excitement throughout the event. In addition to the talented performances, the Future Queen and Escort for 2024 were also announced. Bentley Smith, son of Carl and Jaime Smith, and Brylynn Cannon, daughter of Bryce and Alexis Cannon, both of Renovo, were named Future Queen and Escort. First runners-up were Trevor Ricker and Bayleigh Helm, who were also honored during the Follies.
As the community prepares for the festival this weekend, the Follies served as a reminder of the local talent and community involvement that make the event a cherished tradition.
