As the crisp autumn air settles in under a canopy of vibrant foliage, Clinton County is gearing up for a memorable October filled with Halloween-themed events and festive gatherings. From corn mazes to trunk-or-treats, here’s a rundown of the spectacular activities awaiting residents and visitors alike this fall season:

 

Family Fall Fest by Echo Hope Assembly
•When: Saturday, October 2, from 12:00-3:00 p.m.
•Where: 320 Hogan Boulevard in Mill Hall

Echo Hope Assembly is excited to host its eagerly anticiated Family Fall Fest. This free, family-friendly event includes an inflatable obstacle course and slide, barrel train rides, carnival games with prizes, live music, refreshments, and more. Red, White, and Blue Fest at Pine Creek Seed Farm Corn Maze
•When: Friday, October 4 through Sunday, October 6
•Where: 39 Seeds Lane, Jersey Shore, PA 17740
Get ready for an adventure at the 4th annual Red, White, and Blue Fest at Pine Creek Seed Farm! This year’s corn maze stretches across 19 glorious acres. Opening on Friday, October 4, at 5:00 p.m., the festivities include local fire station showcases, friendly competitions, and a fire truck display. Groove to 90s rock and grunge covers by 91 Stitches on Saturday night, and test your trivia knowledge on Sunday.
Hours of Operation: Friday from 5:00 to 9 p.m., Saturday from 12:00 to 9:00 p.m. with live music performances from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., and Sunday from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Pumpkin Decorating at Main Street Books
•When: Saturday, October 5, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.
•Where: 134 E. Main Street, Lock Haven, PA
Channel your inner artist by decorating pumpkins at Main Street Books in downtown Lock Haven. Pumpkins and art supplies are provided, and refreshments will be served.

Porter Township Fall Festival
•When: Saturday, October 5, from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m.
•Where: Porter Township Park, 35 Washington Avenue, Mill Hall, PA
Enjoy family-friendly fun at the 3rd annual Porter Township Fall Festival. Admission is free, and the event features games, craft and food vendors, music, barrel train rides, and free popcorn and cotton candy!

Farmer’s Fest at Pine Creek Seed Farm Corn Maze
•When: Friday, October 11 through Sunday, October 13

Another exciting weekend at Pine Creek Seed Farm kicks off with Farmer’s Fest. Meet Miss United States Agriculture, Adysyn Phillips, and enjoy a petting zoo, live music by Leadfoot, and the renowned corn maze.

Flaming Foliage Festival Pre-Parade Party and Concert
•When: October 12, from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
•Where: Renovo, PA
Start your Saturday with a pre-parade party featuring live music by Kidz @ Heart, food, and displays. Join the community in the evening for a free concert by RIZE from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., organized by the Citizens Hose Co. of South Renovo.

Clinton County Children and Youth Services Trunk-or-Treat
•When: October 15, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
•Where: 2 Piper Way, Lock Haven, PA
Dress up and join Clinton County Children and Youth Services for a delightful trunk-or-treat event. Bring a candy bag and your best costume.

Haunted Tours of Lock Haven
• When: October 17, 18, 19, 24, and 26, 2024
*Special nighttime 10 pm tours on Friday, October 25
and Saturday, October 19 and 26
• Where: Tours will begin at Triangle Park
Paranormal Investigator Lou Bernard will give haunted tours of Lock Haven as a fundraiser for the Highland Cemetery Association! Tours will be five dollars per person, and all proceeds will benefit Highland Cemetery. All tours will begin in Triangle Park.
Tours will be held at 7:00pm with special nighttime 10pm tours on Friday, October 25 and Saturday, October 19 and 26. Tours will take approximately an hour each, and all tours will feature a combination of old classics and never-before-told stories!

Candy Caravan by First Church of Christ Flemington
•When: October 17, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
•Where: 714 Canal St, Mill Hall, PA
Bring the entire family for an evening of craft activities, games, and treats courtesy of the First Church of Christ Flemington Youth Group. Enjoy local food trucks and collect an array of goodies.

3rd Annual Masquerade Benefit Ball
•When: October 18, 2024, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
•Where: Sons and Daughters of Italy, 1 N. Henderson Street, Lock Haven, PA

Punkin’ Chunkin’ Festival
•When: October 19, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.
•Where: Bald Eagle State Park, 149 Main Park Road, Howard, PA
Watch gigantic pumpkins soar through the sky and splash into Bald Eagle Lake. This free event features hayrides, bounce houses, and local vendors, benefiting Howard Fire Company.

Trunk or Treat by Mercedes Shultz and Bethany Sellers
•When: Saturday, October 19, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
•Where: Central Mountain High School, 64 Keystone Central Drive in Mill Hall
For their senior project, Mercedes Shultz and Bethany Sellers invite families to a Trunk-or-Treat event filled with trunk-or-treating, food, games, and prizes. This event is not sponsored by Keystone Central School District.

Woolrich Wicked Webbed World Halloween Party
•When: Saturday, October 19, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Trunk or Treat by The Salvation Army – Lock Haven

This trunk-or-treat event will take place rain or shine. In the event of rain, activities will be moved inside.

Moonshine Fest at the Pine Creek Seed Farm Corn Maze

Pine Creek Seed Farm’s 4th Annual Corn Maze will celebrate Moonshine Fest throughout the weekend, featuring the Penn State School of Agriculture, Nomad Distilling Co., a beard contest, and live music by the Tussey Mountain Moonshiners on Saturday night from 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. Hours of operation for the weekend are: Friday 5:00-9:00 p.m., Saturday 12:00-9:00 p.m., and Sunday 12:00-6:00 p.m.

Halloween in the Park by Woolrich Park
•When: Saturday, October 26 from 3:00 – 9:00 p.m.
•Where: Woolrich Park on Ball Field Lane, Lock Haven, PA 17745
Woolrich Park will host “Halloween in the Park,” featuring a Trunk-or-Treat, games, crafts, hayrides, and more! Come dressed in costume and compete in a costume contest judged by age group. Just follow the arrows to the parking lot.

Annual Trunk ‘N Treat Event by the Wayne Township Recreation Board and Supervisors
•When: Saturday, October 26 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
•Where: Wayne Township Nature Park, 159 Linnippi Trail, Lock Haven, PA
Bring the whole family to the Wayne Township Nature Park for a magical Halloween experience! The recreation board invites businesses and individuals wanting to participate to show up and have wrapped candy ready to pass out. Participants can begin to decorate and set up at 3:00 p.m., with the event beginning at 4:00 p.m.

Big Woods Fall Festival by Big Woods Bible Church
•When: Saturday, October 26, from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m.
•Where: 241 S. Hanna Street, Lock Haven
Big Woods Bible Church invites the community to the Big Woods Fall Festival, featuring games, inflatables, a raffle table, a face painting station, and more!

Trunk or Treat by Millbrook Plaza
•When: Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
•Where: Millbrook Plaza, 2 Millbrook Plz, Mill Hall
Families are in for a treat at the upcoming car cruise event that takes on a festive twist. The enhanced Trunk-or-Treat event will feature a variety of decorated cruisers with their trunks open, ready to pass out candy to children in the community.

Wicked Wine Fest by Haven Performing Arts
•When: Saturday, October 26, from 12:00- 5:00 p.m.
•Where: Castanea Picnic Grounds, 859 Lower Creek Road, Castanea, PA
Adults are invited to come and enjoy wines, beers, distilleries, vendors, food, a basket raffle, a 50/50 drawing, and live music from 2 A.M. Tickets are $30 in advance or $35 at the door. Contact Dana Marino at 570-367-0781 to purchase tickets.

Trunk-or-Treat by Bucktail Medical Center
•When: Saturday, October 26 from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.
•Where: Main parking lot at Bucktail Medical Center,
1001 Pine St, Renovo, PA
Join Bucktail Medical Center for another spooky night of trunk-or-treating in a safe environment!

Lock Haven Halloween Parade by the Lock Haven Fire Department
•When: Saturday, October 26, beginning at 10:00 a.m. (Participants begin lining up at 9:30 a.m.)
•Where: The parade route thrown downtown Lock Haven begins on East Main Street and concludes at Triangle Park. In case of rain, Eastside Fire Rescue on East Church Street.
March in the parade and compete for cash prizes, gift certificates, and merchandise donated by local businesses, organizations, and individual supporters, or bring the whole family out to watch the spectacle as it proceeds through town!
The parade route will begin on E. Main Street and end at Triangle Park, where everyone is invited to enjoy refreshments and activities for children, such as Halloween Corn Hole, a Fishing Pond, pumpkin decorating, and more while the judges deliberate. Once the judges have made their decision, prizes will be awarded. In case of rain, an indoor party will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Eastside Fire Rescue on East Church Street (Formerly the Hope Hose Company).
For those wanting to participate, the parade line-up will be from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. on North Henderson Street between E. Main Street and E. Water Street, with all vehicle floats lining up on E. Water Street.
Prizes will be awarded to the Best Float, Best Halloween Themed Group, Funniest, Best Halloween Themed Vehicle, Most Original, Best Duo, Cutest, Best Costumed Pet, Judges’ Award, Best Pop Culture, Best Child in a Wagon, Stroller, or Buggy, Best Crazy Mixed Up Costume, and Best Overall Entry. No political entries will be permitted.

Castanea Township Halloween Parade and Party by Castanea Township Recreation Committee
•When: Sunday, October 27, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. (Rain date: Monday, October 28 at 6:00 p.m.)
•Where: The parade route will be from Brown Street to McElhattan Avenue, ending at the Castanea Fire Company.
The Castanea Township Halloween Parade will feature decorated cars, hot rods, 4-wheelers, and various groups, including scouts, cheerleaders, non-profit groups, car dealers, dance troupes, school groups, and a variety of Halloween-themed floats. Annual Trunk or Treat by Lock Haven Branch YMCA
•When: Tuesday, October 29, from 5:30. – 7:00 p.m.

Come out to see a variety of decorated trunks and collect sweet treats for the whole family.

Trunk n’ Treat by Grace Fellowship and Avis Fire Company #1
•When: Thursday, October 31, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Bring your little ghosts and goblins for a night of trunk-or-treating that will feature Marleen’s famous donuts, Grillin’ delights, goodie giveaways, and creative car decorations.

Haunted House and Trunk-or-Treat by Greater Renovo Area Heritage Park
•When: Thursday, October 31 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
•Where: 530 Erie Avenue, Renovo, PA

Annual Trunk or Treat by Walnut Street Baptist Church
