LHU Field Hockey Falls to Indiana

LOCK HAVEN– The Lock Haven field hockey team fell to Indiana, 3-0, in a non-conference game at Charlotte Smith Field on Sunday afternoon (Sept. 29).

Indiana opened the scoring in the fourth minute, but Lock Haven shut out the Hoosiers the remaining of the first half to remain within striking distance.

However, Indiana added a goal in both the third and fourth quarter to seal the victory.

In cage, Lock Haven goalkeeper made a game-high 10 saves a game removed after making 18 stops against VCU on Friday.

Lock Haven finished with five shots in the contest and Brooke Hofsass led the group with three, including two on goal.

Sunday, Sept. 29 concluded Lock Haven’s week-long 2024 Homecoming celebration.
