Police Blotter – September 20, 2024

Renovo Police Department News: 

Renovo Police have charged 30-year-old Felisha Kelley, of Renovo, with burglary, criminal mischief, and theft of secondary metal. On August 22, 2024, Kelley allegedly entered the apartment at 428 Erie Avenue without permission and stole copper wiring and piping from a washer and dryer. This destroyed both machines, causing over $1,000 in damages. Renovo Police currently have an active felony warrant for Kelley. 

Anyone who sees Kelley or knows of her whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately. Information can also be provided by calling the Renovo Police Department at 570-923-2102 or the dispatcher at 570-923-2268. Tips may also be submitted through the Crime Watch website, which is linked below.

Motor Vehicle Accident 
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP– On September 18, 2024, at 10:06 a.m., an unnamed driver of a 1997 Ford Ranger was traveling on Lusk Run Road/Ferree Lane when a collision occurred after the driver dropped an item and lost control of the vehicle. The truck veered out of the northbound lane and struck a culvert on the side of the road. The impact caused the front passenger tire to blow out and resulted in minor undercarriage damage. The vehicle became stuck on the culvert and came to a controlled stop. No injuries were reported. Martin Motors towed the vehicle at the owner’s request.

Criminal Mischief
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP– PSP Lamar Troopers responded to Sugar Run Road for a report of a mailbox that had been damaged sometime between 10:00 p.m. on September 15 and 6:00 a.m. on September 16, 2024. This investigation is ongoing.

Theft of Lost/Mislaid Property
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP– PSP Lamar Troopers responded to Hogan Boulevard for a report of theft from a 63-year-old female victim on September 16, 2024, at 1:13 p.m. This investigation is ongoing.

Motor Vehicle Accident 
WAYNE TOWNSHIP– On September 15, 2024, at 11:51 a.m., a crash occurred on Pine Mountain Road, east of Aughanbaugh Road. Leah McMillion, 29, from Lock Haven, lost control of her vehicle, veered out of her lane, and collided with an embankment and vegetation on the roadside. After the impact, McMillion’s Subaru Ascent slid downhill approximately 25 feet before coming to a stop. The crash caused disabling damage to the vehicle, but no injuries were reported. McMillion was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident.

Suicide Attempt
WOODWARD TOWNSHIP– On September 15, 2024, PSP Selinsgrove responded to Woodward Avenue for a medical incident involving a 62-year-old female from Williamsburg, IN. The woman was evaluated by EMS personnel and rushed to UPMC Lock Haven Emergency Department for evaluation and treatment.

Residential Burglary 
CRAWFORD TOWNSHIP– PSP Lamar Troopers were dispatched to Rauchtown Road on September 11, 2024, for a possible burglary in progress. On scene, Troopers discovered evidence that corroborated the events described by the 27-year-old female victim. She reported seeing a Ford pickup truck with headlights on that was parked at the bottom of her driveway during the event. Motor Vehicle Accident
DUNNSTABLE TOWNSHIP– On September 8, 2024, at 7:01 p.m., a two-vehicle collision occurred when Kenneth Green, 64, from Jersey Shore, ran a stop sign at the intersection of Stewart Road and Woodward Avenue. Caroline Borges, 24, from Lock Haven, was traveling west on Woodward Avenue when Green entered the intersection and collided with her vehicle, striking it at a 90-degree angle on the driver’s side. Borges did not have a stop sign or traffic light controlling her direction of travel. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and had to be towed from the scene. Green sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Jersey Shore Hospital by Lock Haven EMS. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the incident. According to the report, multiple citations were filed against Green through District Court 25-3-01.

Harassment w/ Physical Contact
BEECH CREEK– On September 1, 2024, at 1:02 a.m., PSP Lamar Troopers were dispatched to 206 Hicks Run Road for a report of a fight between two males. The investigation revealed that Malcolm Mulvaney, 41, Lock Haven, and Clint Weaver, 41, Howard, engaged in a mutual fight that resulted in a minor injury. Both were cited for harassment as a result of the incident.

Motor Vehicle Accident 
COLEBROOK TOWNSHIP– On August 29, 2024, a crash occurred on SR-120 (Renovo Road) near its intersection with Scootac Road. Gregory Springer, 64, of Beaver Falls, PA, was traveling west on SR-120 when he attempted to turn left onto a private driveway but missed it, ending up in a ditch. As a result, his Chevrolet Equinox got stuck and required a tow truck to pull it out. The vehicle sustained minor damage, and no injuries were reported. However, Springer was taken into custody and transported to UPMC Lock Haven Hospital for a chemical blood test due to suspected DUI, according to the report.
