Central Mountain Boys Cross Country Secures Three Wins

MILTON-The Central Mountain boys cross country team was on fire Tuesday, claiming three hard-fought victories. The Wildcats edged out Milton 28-30, topped Central Columbia 21-40, and bested Warrior Run 25-34 in a quad meet.

Leading the charge for Central Mountain was top performer Damien Winner, who set a new personal record with an impressive time of 17:41. Five other Wildcats also set new PRs, including Shane Walker, Xian Deems, Gabriel Houser, Cody Cardinal, and Brayden Bird.

Additional strong performances came from Sam Wible with a time of 19:12, Riley Gonzales at 20:10, and Latrell Walker finishing at 20:15.

The Wildcats, now 6-2 on the season, will next compete in the 18th PIAA Foundational Invitational in Hershey this Saturday.
