Central Mountain Boys XC Claims Two Wins at Midd-West Quad Meet, Four Wildcats Set Personal Records

MIDDLEBURG-The Central Mountain boys cross country team earned two victories at today’s quad meet against Midd-West, Mount Carmel, and Lewisburg. The Wildcats defeated Midd-West 23-38 and Mount Carmel 26-33 but were outpaced by Lewisburg, falling 49-15.

Four Wildcats achieved new personal records during the race: Latrell Walker (19:57.96), Shayden Hill (20:12.68), Xian Deems (21:21.48), and Myles Winslow (25:01.47), marking a significant step forward for the team. Central Mountain’s overall record now stands at 3-2.

Leading the Wildcats, Damien Winner finished with a time of 18:13.26, followed by Sam Wible (18:35.72). The Wildcats will return to action next Tuesday for another quad meet at Milton.
