Central Mountain Girls XC Secures Two Wins at Midd-West Quad Meet, Eiler Sets New Personal Record

MIDDLEBURG-The Central Mountain girls cross country team had a strong showing at the quad meet hosted by Midd-West, finishing the day with a 2-1 record. The Wildcats posted victories against Mount Carmel (16-43) and Midd-West (19-40) but were edged out by Lewisburg (40-19). The team’s overall record now stands at 3-2.

Junior Aubrey Eiler continued her impressive form, setting a new personal record for the third consecutive race with a time of 22:41.76. Eiler has been a consistent top performer for Central Mountain.

Grace Keohane led the Wildcats with a time of 21:15.53, followed by strong performances from Gabriella Hosley (22:23.98) and Eiler. Other finishers included Calienna Cardinal (24:13.56), Abrianna Hosley (26:45.65), Liz McCloskey (27:46.32), Adrian Samaniego (30:25.67), Macia Owens (30:51.68), and Kennedy Metzger (34:02.17).

The Wildcats will next compete at Milton next Tuesday.
