Lock Haven Football set to host Community Night Saturday; Free admission for all
LOCK HAVEN – The much anticipated 2024 Lock Haven football season is underway and the Bald Eagles are set for their home opener, which is scheduled for 6 p.m. Saturday (Sept. 14) night at Hubert Jack Stadium. The Haven will welcome perennial power IUP.
Saturday will mark Lock Haven’s 2024 Community Night and admission is free for everyone, thanks to lead sponsor – LHU SAS Inc. and the University Store.
The Bald Eagles are calling for a White Out when they welcome perennial power IUP to Hubert Jack Stadium Saturday night.
Always a fan favorite, the Snyders Concessions’ food truck will be on hand once again for home football games this season. Snyders will have a variety of food options for purchase throughout the season.
Lock Haven athletics has partnered with Avenue 209 Coffee House and the local favorite will be on hand for select home athletic events throughout the year, including the Community Night football game Saturday. Fans can purchase a variety of refreshments.

Please note: On gameday, there is no general parking at Hubert Jack Stadium. Parking is limited at the stadium to tailgate pass holders and ADA parking.
Fans are encouraged to park for free in the Zimmerli Lots (Lot No. 8 and 16). Starting at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, a free trolley will be available to transport fans from the Zimmerli Lot Area to the stadium. The trolley will run from 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. from the Zimmerli Lot Area to Hubert Jack Stadium. A campus map is available at GoLHU.com.

Saturday’s home opener is the first of five home games scheduled this fall and it’s the first of three straight games at home. The Bald Eagles will host California (Pa.) on Saturday, Sept. 21 and Lock Haven’s 2024 Homecoming Game is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 28 vs. Millersville. The Haven will host Bloomsburg on Saturday, Oct. 19 and the final home game of the regular season is set for Saturday, Nov. 9 vs. Shippensburg. Lock Haven opened the 2024 season with a convincing 31-9 road-victory at Glenville State during Week-1 action last weekend. It marked the fifth straight season where the Bald Eagles opened with a win, but Lock Haven is looking for its first 2-0 start since 1982. Last season, the Bald Eagles won five games, the most wins in a single season for The Haven in over 40 years.
