Central Mountain Girls Tennis Falls to Altoona at Home

MILL HALL-The Central Mountain girls tennis team faced a tough challenge at home, falling to Altoona in a well-fought match. Despite strong efforts, Altoona came away with the overall victory.

In singles play, Central Mountain’s standout performance came from Addison Lindsay, who dominated her match against Bella Graham with a commanding 6-0, 6-0 win. However, Altoona responded by taking the next two singles matches, as Courtney Irwin defeated Ellie Harry 6-2, 6-0, and Skylar Irwin beat Molly Dubbs 6-2, 6-0.

The doubles matches saw Altoona continue their strong performance. Andie Adams and Emma Hovan defeated Central Mountain’s Emily Brinker and Audra Eaton 6-1, 6-0 in the first doubles match. In the second doubles match, Altoona’s Oriana Dent and Kaylee Swain secured a 6-0, 6-0 win over Kassie Williams and Leah Wian.
