Accidental Death 

According to a press release issued by PA State Police-Lamar, on September 6, 2024, at 11:50 a.m., Kyler Keller, 27, from Lewistown, fell approximately 30 feet off a ladder while carrying supplies needed to complete a roof repair at Central Mountain High School, 64 Keystone Central Drive in Mill Hall. 

Keller was climbing the ladder with a 5-gallon bucket of sealant while his co-worker was holding the bottom of the ladder. When Keller attempted to put the bucket onto the roof from the ladder, the top of the ladder shifted and slid across the top of the building, causing Keller to fall onto the concrete below. 

School staff attempted life-saving measures until emergency responders arrived on the scene. Keller was transported to UPMC Lock Haven Emergency Department, where he succumbed to his injuries.
