Renovo Hometown Heroes Banner Celebration Set for Sunday Afternoon

RENOVO – What are you doing on Sunday afternoon?
Renovo will be celebrating their Hometown Heroes Banner program Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the 16th Street Park.
“We have a total of 48 new banners, five of which are honoring the killed in action (KIA) in 1946,” volunteer Mary George Rhone said.
The program will welcome Dave Bower as the Emcee, Erica Dorman will be singing, and John McMillen will be playing the bagpipes.
Banners can be found hanging throughout town along Huron Avenue (route 120) and Erie Avenue.
The Renovo Hometown Heroes Banner Committee is comprised of Dave Bower, Vince Tarantella, Fred Miller, George Crouse, and Eric Ditty.
