Girls Varsity Cross Country Competes in the 26th Annual Bear Mountain River Run

LOCK HAVEN-The Central Mountain girls cross country team had a strong showing at the BMRR Invitational, with junior Grace Keohane leading the way for the Lady Wildcats. Keohane’s impressive performance earned her a medal as she secured a 9th place finish with a time of 20:36.

Keohane’s efforts were complemented by the team’s “3 Musketeers” – Aubrey Eiler, Emma Wolfe, and Gabriella Hosley – who are steadily building a solid foundation for the rest of the season. Eiler and Wolfe crossed the finish line just a second apart, posting times of 23:16 and 23:17, respectively. Hosley wasn’t far behind, completing the course in 23:33.

Calienna Cardinal also put in a commendable effort, finishing with a time of 23:42, followed by Abrianna Hosley at 27:40. Rounding out the team, Liz McCloskey, Macia Owens, and Adrian Samaniego finished with times of 29:30, 29:50, and 30:29, respectively.

The Lady Wildcats will look to build on these performances as they continue their season, aiming to improve with each race.
