Central Mountain Tennis Dominates Selinsgrove
MILL HALL – Central Mountain High School’s girls tennis team delivered a commanding performance at the Gibson Tennis Courts Monday to start their season, sweeping all matches against Selinsgrove Area High School. The Wildcats secured victories in both singles and doubles play, showcasing their depth and skill on the court.
In singles action, Addison Lindsay led the charge for Central Mountain with a decisive 6-0, 6-0 win over Khylee Haines. Ellie Harry followed suit with a strong 6-1, 6-3 victory against Miah Bassler. Archie Walker rounded out the singles sweep, defeating Alexis Hoot 6-2, 6-2.
The Wildcats continued their dominance in doubles play. The duo of Molly Dubbs and Emily Brinker cruised to a 6-0, 6-3 win over Berkely Fertig and Ashlyn Lehman. Audra Eaton and Kassie Williams completed the clean sweep for Central Mountain, winning their match 6-3, 6-2 against Talia Mowery and Natayla Kline.
With today’s victory, Central Mountain starts to build momentum as they look ahead to the rest of the season. Up next the Lady Wildcats will be away Wednesday against Jersey Shore.
