Incidents: 

Crash – On August 6, 2024, at 1:19 p.m., there was a rollover crash in the area of 311 Bellefonte Avenue when a driver struck another legally parked vehicle, causing it to roll onto its side. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. 

Offenses Charged: 

A 15-year-old male was cited with harassment. On July 16, 2024, at approximately 6:40 p.m., the 15-year-old male hit a 13-year-old male several times while at the Skate Park. 

Scott Killinger, 52, Lock Haven, was arrested for Cruelty to Animals. On July 19, 2024, at approximately 4:30 p.m., officers responded to the 100 block of Susquehanna Avenue for someone possibly neglecting their dog. Killinger was the owner of the dog, which was covered in fleas and had swollen areas. The dog was removed from the home and was checked by a veterinarian. It was determined that the dog had fleas for at least 7 – 12 months without being treated. 

A 12-year-old female was cited with harassment. On August 3, 2024, at approximately 12:15 a.m., the 12-year-old female went to a victim’s house, where a physical altercation took place.

  • Renovo Police Department News: 

Theft by Unlawful Taking

Renovo Police have charged 50-year-old Jeni Cowan with a felony count of Theft by Unlawful Taking, stemming from an incident that occurred on July 12, 2024, at a residence along SR-120 (Renovo Road) in Chapman Township. While Cowan was a brief visitor there, she allegedly stole numerous items, including jewelry, cash, and miscellaneous items, valued at over $9,000. Renovo Police held an active felony arrest warrant for Cowan, but on August 18, 2024, she was located and arrested in Lock Haven. Cowan was arraigned before District Judge Mills, and bail was set at $1,000, which she could not post. Cowan was subsequently committed to the Clinton County Correctional Facility.
