  • Renovo Police Department: 

Renovo Police have charged 33-year-old Kayla Colorado with a felony count of retail theft stemming from an incident on July 19, 2024, at Tony’s Hardware, 621 Huron Avenue in Renovo.  Colorado stole a razor scraper tool valued at $5.99 from the store. On July 21, 2024, Colorado was taken into custody in the 200 block of Cedar Street in Renovo. She was brought to the Clinton County Correctional Facility and later arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Mills and jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail. The charge is a felony due to Colorado having numerous prior retail theft convictions.

Renovo Police have charged 33-year-old Kayla Colorado with multiple drug offenses stemming from when she was arrested on July 21, 2024, and found to be in possession of drugs and paraphernalia. Colorado was arrested on other charges and found to have multiple items of controlled substances and paraphernalia on her. She was brought to the Clinton County Correctional Facility and later arraigned by District Judge Mills and jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail.

  • Woodward Township Police Department:

Christopher James Kelley, 32, was charged by Woodward Township Police for being a Fugitive From Justice after he was stopped for a traffic violation on the 200 block of Woodward Avenue and was found to have an outstanding warrant for a drug offense out of the Jefferson Parrish Sheriff’s Office in Louisiana. Kelley was taken into custody and placed in the Clinton County Correctional Facility to await extradition to Louisiana.

Nicole Pauline Burns, 54, was charged by Woodward Township Police with False Identification To Law Enforcement after she was stopped for a traffic violation on Woodward Avenue. During the traffic stop, Burns provided police with her maiden name, Shoemaker, in an attempt to hide her true identity. Burns was aware there were numerous outstanding warrants for her arrest, and her driver’s license was also suspended. Burns was taken into custody and placed in the Clinton County Correctional Facility on the charges. All persons accused of committing a crime, and any discussion thereof, are presumed to be innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.

Retail Theft/Shoplifting

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP– On July 21, 2024, PSP Lamar was dispatched to Walmart in Mill Hall for a report of retail theft. Through investigation, charges were filed against an 18-year-old female from Lock Haven for theft of miscellaneous items totaling $67.25. Charges were filed through District Court 25-3-02.

PFA Violation

AVIS– On July 21, 2024, at 10:03 p.m., PSP Lamar was requested to investigate a possible PFA Violation at 19 W. Highland Street. The investigation revealed that a PFA violation did not occur. 

Retail Theft/Shoplifting 

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP– On July 20, 2024, PSP Lamar Troopers were dispatched to Walmart in Mill Hall for a retail theft committed by an employee. Through investigation, it was determined that multiple thefts occurred between June 8, 2024, and July 20, 2024. Alexandrei Acune, 19, from Lock Haven, was taken into custody and cited for retail theft through District Court 25-3-02. 

Retail Theft/Shoplifting

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP– On July 20, 2024, at 5:08 p.m., PSP Lamar arrested a 37-year-old female from Lock Haven for retail theft of multiple items totaling $195.11 at Walmart in Mill Hall. The woman was processed and taken to the Clinton County Correctional Facility to await arraignment by a judge. Charges were filed through District Court 25-3-02. 

Harassment w/Physical Contact 

FLEMINGTON– On July 20, 2024, at 9:02 p.m., PSP Lamar investigated a reported incident involving a disturbance/harassment in the area of Wright Street and Bressler Street. As a result of the incident, a 44-year-old female from Lock Haven and a 40-year-old female from Lock Haven were issued citations for harassment through District Court 25-3-01.

Retail Theft/Shoplifting

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP– On July 19, 2024, PSP Lamar responded to Walmart in Mill Hall for a report of a retail theft. Upon arrival on the scene, it was reported that a 31-year-old female from Bellefonte had under-rang multiple items totaling $105.19. The woman was subsequently taken into custody and transported to PSP Lamar, where she was fingerprinted, processed, and released. A Non-Traffic citation was filed through District Court 25-3-02. 

Retail Theft/Shoplifting 

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP– On July 19, 2024, at approximately 6:24 p.m., PSP Lamar received a report of a retail theft at Walmart in Mill Hall. A 23-year-old female from Boalsburg attempted to conceal unpaid items totaling $42.36 with other items that had already been paid for before leaving the store. The woman was stopped and subsequently arrested for retail theft through District Court 25-3-02. 

Death-Undetermined

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP– PSP Lamar is currently investigating the death of a three-month-old male on that occurred on July 19, 2024

Theft 

FLEMINGTON– On July 18, 2024, at 9:31 a.m., PSP Lamar handled a report of an online scam. The victim, a 48-year-old female from Lock Haven, was contacted by an unknown suspect online through social media. The suspect claimed to be the lead singer of Duran Duran and engaged in an online relationship with the victim. The suspect then requested that the woman send him money using Apple gift cards. This investigation is ongoing. 

 

Vehicle Accident 

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP– On May 17, 2024, a one-vehicle crash occurred on Munro Road when an unidentified driver was traveling at approximately 30 mph around a right-hand curve. The driver was unfamiliar with the road and failed to negotiate the curve, leaving the roadway and continuing over an embankment before getting caught on some shrubs. No injuries were reported as a result of the crash, and the vehicle was towed from the scene by Martin Motors. 

Retail Theft/Shoplifting 

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP– On May 3, 2024, a 19-year-old female from Lewistown was arrested for retail theft at Walmart in Mill Hall after allegedly stealing six items totaling $42.07, according to the police report. The woman was processed at the PSP-Lamar barracks and released.

Theft 

LOGAN TOWNSHIP– On May 1, 2024, PSP Lamar investigated the report of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. In addition to using the vehicle without permission, the actor, identified as a 38-year-old male from Lamar, also stole seven chainsaws and two firearms from the victim. All stolen items were successfully recovered, and charges for Theft and Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle are pending through District Court 25-3-02. 

Firearm Sale/Transfer 

LAMAR TOWNSHIP– On November 17, 2023, PSP Lamar Troopers investigated a Pennsylvania Instant Check System (PICS) violation that took place at Miller’s Gun Shop. During the investigation, it was determined that the suspect lied on forms they filled out and then attempted to purchase a firearm. During the investigation, the District Attorney was consulted, and the prosecution was declined in this case. No charges will be filed. 

Shoplifting

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP– PSP Lamar responded to a report of a retail theft that occurred at Walmart in Mill Hall on July 9, 2024. A 68-year-old woman from Westport attempted to steal a 12-pack variety of Delectable Stew cat food valued at $13.72. The woman was taken into custody, and charges were filed through District Court 25-3-02. 

Terroristic Threats 

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP– On July 4, 2024, PSP Lamar responded to 6 Millbrook Plaza to investigate an incident of harassment. Upon further investigation, it was learned that Charles Bowman, 38, from Mill Hall, contacted a 45-year-old male victim from Bellefonte via social media and sent a message that was threatening in nature. Bowman was charged with Terroristic Threats and Harassment by Communication through District Court 25-3-02.

Drug Sale/Possession with Intent to Deliver 

RENOVO– PSP Lamar conducted a traffic stop on Huron Avenue on July 6, 2024, and suspected drugs were subsequently seized from a 2020 Dodge Ram Truck. This investigation continues. 

Theft of Items from Motor Vehicle 

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP– PA State Police are investigating a theft from an unlocked vehicle that occurred at Tractor Supply Co. in Mill Hall at approximately 10:10 a.m. on July 6, 2024. During the course of this crime trend, the actor(s) focused on vehicles that were left unlocked. Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to contact the PA State Police Lamar barracks by calling 570-726-6000. 

PFA Violation 

NOYES TOWNSHIP– On July 1, 2024, PSP Lamar responded to 16324 Renovo Road for a report of a PFA Violation. Investigation revealed possible contact via text message, but the District Attorney declined prosecution. 

Found Property/Drugs 

AVIS– On May 30, 2024, at 2:48 a.m., PSP responded to a report of found property that included drugs in the Central Avenue area of Avis. “If you have lost your drugs and would like them back, please contact PSP Lamar,” Trooper Cody Geyer stated in his report of the incident. 

Found Property

GREENE TOWNSHIP– On May 26, 2024, at 5:14 p.m., a small purse was found on a picnic bench at the rest area off of I-80 East in Greene Township. The purse was turned over to PSP Lamar, and the property was returned to the owner without incident. 

Criminal Mischief

NOYES TOWNSHIP– On May 25, 2024, at 2:15 p.m., PSP Lamar responded to Border Street for a report of criminal mischief. Upon arrival on the scene, it was learned that at an unknown date and time, unknown actor(s) removed the ignition to the 70-year-old victim’s Kubota B80200, causing approximately $100.00 worth of damage. Retail Theft/Shoplifting

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP– On May 25, 2024, at 5:55 p.m., PSP Lamar responded to Walmart in Mill Hall for a report of retail theft after an unnamed 40-year-old female from Williamsport reportedly underrang $93.38 worth of merchandise at the self-checkout. A citation was filed for retail theft through District Court 25-3-02. 

Criminal Trespass 

GALLAGHER TOWNSHIP– On May 28, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., PSP Lamar was notified of an alleged trespassing incident in the area of Carrier Road and Ponderosa Drive. This investigation is ongoing. 

Retail Theft/Shoplifting 

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP– On May 19, 2024, at approximately 1:51 p.m., a known individual, identified as a 33-year-old female from Lock Haven, attempted to leave Walmart in Mill Hall with $70.88 worth of merchandise without paying for it. The woman was apprehended and charged with retail theft through District Court 25-3-02. 

Motor Vehicle Accident 

GREENE TOWNSHIP– On May 18, 2024, at 2:46 p.m., a crash occurred on I-80 East at mile marker 193.3 when Donald Ludwig, 25, from Belle Center, OH, was traveling in the left-hand lane in a 2024 Toyota 4-Runner. Lillian Swisher, 21, from Danville, was traveling in the right-hand lane when Ludwig attempted to merge into her lane, subsequently striking her 2022 Hyundai Elantra and causing both vehicles to become airborne before continuing off the roadway. Ludwig’s vehicle flipped end-over-end and came to a final rest in the grass off of the roadway facing north. Swisher’s vehicle rolled three times, impacted a tree, and came to a final rest on the south side of the roadway. Beth Dorward, 59, from Maineville, OH, was traveling in the right-hand lane and sustained minor damage from flying debris as a result of the crash. The crash caused disabling damage to both Ludwig and Swisher’s vehicles, and Dorward’s vehicle sustained minor damage. Ludwig was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and sustained minor injuries. Swisher was wearing her seatbelt and was transported to Geisinger for further evaluation. Dorward did not report any injuries. 

Motor Vehicle Accident 

GREENE TOWNSHIP– On May 17, 2024, at approximately 4:00 p.m., a one-vehicle crash occurred when Amy Glunt, 68, from Bellefonte, was traveling west at approximately 60 mph near mile marker 193.2. As Glunt was traveling, a deer entered the roadway into her lane of travel and she was unable to avoid striking it with the front end of her vehicle. Glunt and her passenger reported minor injuries but refused medical treatment.
