2024 Clinton County Fair Queen announced: Elizabeth Walker

MACKEYVILLE – Elizabeth Walker, the 2024 Clinton County Fair Queen was announced Saturday afternoon at the culmination of the Fair Queen Contest.

Walker, a current student at Commonwealth University: Lock Haven is studying Biomed Pre-Med to become a veterinarian and hopes to eventually open her own practice.

Molly Dubbs was awarded 2024 Clinton County Fair Queen First Alternate.

During the fair queen contest, visitors heard from five contestants: Molly Dubbs (Clinton County Fair Queen 1st Alternate), Elizabeth Walker (2024 Clinton County Fair Queen), Adelaide Miller, Margaret Park, and Alle Dutton.

Each contestant was asked to prepare and deliver a speech: “Why You Should Come To My Fair?” Each contestant was later asked to answer an impromptu question requiring no knowledge beforehand or preparation: “If you were given one minute to talk to the PA Secretary of Agriculture about the Clinton County Fair, what would you tell him?”
